we literally had the most amazing time ever. we came in a group of four and originally had reservations down the street that we missed so we stumbled upon this spot. visiting chicago for the first time from Canada and it was hands down the best experience we’d been to. service was amazing, Rudy was the best server we had our whole weekend trip; the vibes and atmosphere were 10/10 we ended up staying for a couple of hours.
the bottomless brunch was delicious and came with a whole buffet section including an entree. Rudy made sure he had our mimosas coming and never let the cup empty. Will definitely be visiting again
Was able to go here for lunch and dinner on two separate occasions. Taco Tuesday special was good, margarita flight and tacos. We went as well during the evening when it was a little busy and they had plenty of staff working the bar and were very attentive. Only complaint is that the food is a little pricey but still doable, will definitely be returning though, thank you!
I went to Barcocina for the first time on Tuesday and had amazing time! The food was great, the vibes were so fun, and the service was fantastic. Our server (Chris) went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable. He recommended the kiwi cooler, which was to die for! Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend for an evening out with friends!
The vibes at Barcocina are immaculate! The outdoor patio is perfect - we took our dog and he loved relaxing in the sun and enjoying attention from other customers! Our server, Chris G, made the experience absolutely perfect. He was so personable, funny, and his drink recommendations were all on point. Definitely recommend, especially if you can get Chris as your server!!
My wife and I have been to Barcocinca more times than I can count since we moved to Lakeview seven years ago. The vibe is excellent — from their high tops and bar seating to their dining area and outdoor patio, there really isn’t a bad spot. The food is excellent as well. We’re big fans of the balsamic drizzle on their guacamole, and all of their taco options are excellent. My wife particularly loves the bang bang cauliflower tacos. But their brunch menu is our favorite, so would definitely recommend checking them out for a late morning bite on Saturday or Sunday if you’re looking for a reliably good spot in Lakeview!
I am a regular here, and I can’t say enough great things about this place. The staff is beyond amazing - their service, food and kindness defy expectations. The management, especially Aaron, is the best of the best. Couldn’t imagine spending my birthday anywhere else!
Came here with a friend, but was disappointed by the lack of options and weak pour (see the photo. That is not worth $15) for a bottle of wine that only costs $15.99 at the wine store. They were out of basic stuff like most of the beer on the menu. They only have 3 white wine options, and was out of most of them. Will not be returning.
Great food, great atmosphere and great drinks. The selection of drinks is great, something for everyone. The appetizers all sound amazing. The few we ordered were on point. So far have tried four types of tacos. Three have been good. One has been ok but never would get again. The food is fresh and flavorful. Definitely a place to try when your in the area. Only downside is they never have the ingredients for one of their drinks, been there two times and both times they did not have the ingredients.
