Was there to get a takeout pizza for counting down at the park, but we were told it could be 10-15 min wait, so we went over to the bar to grab a Hot Toddy. OMG all the servers are so nice. I MEAN REALLY NICE, esp Doug ! We even got seated to have the first few bites of our pizza after we got it since we still have a bit of time ! The pizza is yum ( got artichoke white pizza ) , the place is packed and has a good vibe !
Barboncino Pizza was absolutely delicious! We arrived around 7:35 PM and did not get seated until around 8:50 PM. We were able to hang out at the bar, so it all worked out.
The food was delicious and came out quick, the drinks were great too.
The menu is small but not small to the point where there wasn’t something for everyone.
I would recommend the caprese salad & any of their pizzas with hot honey & basil added!
A beautiful interior with a friendly and attentive staff. The pizza is amazing and beyond surprised with the brunch pizza options. Did not realize that a breakfast pizza could taste so good. They have an incredible hot honey that pairs well with the pizzas as well.
We ordered through Caviar/Door Dash.. it was obvious within an hour that there was a glitch in their system and despite the order being ready for a while they wouldn’t assign a dasher so it was very late. Caviar/Door Dash support was no help at all, but when I called the restaurant they confirmed it was ready on their end and even offered to take the loss for an order cancelation and we could pick it up for free, or offered to remake the food so it was fresh. Finally after an hour and a half door dash fixed the issue and assigned someone, and Barboncino even added a free Ice Cream for our troubles even though it wasn’t their fault at all. We’ve been coming here for years, the food is out of this world the best brick oven in Brooklyn (coming from a native New Yorker).. I recommend the garlic bread combined with burrata app.. which is basically a pizza in itself. Or clam pizza or margarita, you can’t go wrong here. Once again their service is top notch even when it’s not their fault. Woman on the phone couldn’t be nicer even though it was a door dash issue. We are customers for life!
Best pizza in Brooklyn! I love coming here. Having spent a good amount of time in Italy, I can honestly say this pizza taste authentic. My Italian friend who was born and raised in Italy is the one that introduced me to Barboncino. All the pizzas are great, you can’t go wrong! Salads are yummy too! I have to mention - service is amazing, the wine is good and the ambiance is a vibe in the best way.
We were there to celebrate a birthday, and the Barboncino staff came through big time. The hostess was so friendly and accurate with her wait times, and our server Aidan was the best person we could ask for. He was personable, attentive, and went so far out of his way to ensure we were having a good experience and our birthday girl was taken care of. Everyone on staff was so lovely and had incredible poise! To top it all off, the food and drinks were marvelous. All the cocktails and Prosecco we tried were tasty and well-made, and the food was delicious and perfectly executed. We will absolutely be returning for many more visits after this one!
A nice place to enjoy the thin crust Brooklyn style pizzas. We ordered the Margherita pizza, the cherry tomato and arugula pizza, as well as the Anchovy pizza. All were good. I would have preferred a slightly crispy crust under the toppings. The centers were slightly soggy. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly.
First time visiting this restaurant, and it wasn't a disappointment, I ordered four cheese and pepperoni pizzas and was delicious !! It's one of the best pizzas in town, I also had they one signature spicy honey!! Was a great addition to the pizza.
The atmosphere and the location is not the best but are worth it, the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
I am definitely going back there if I'm in the area !!
