We rode through this town to get a nice view across the bay and got lucky by finding this spot at mealtime. A crab cake quesadilla, a dozen grilled oysters, and an apple crumble later we we back on the road with a big smile on our face and a warm nap in our future. Attentive staff, and Watching Barbara greet everyone and an our chat with her about Local towns and things to see and do made this stop Lucky indeed. 5 stars.
Good experience overall. We dropped in on a Sunday afternoon. It was very quiet. Probably before the dinner rush. All of the staff were very nice and attentive. I got crab soup and the daily special quesedilla. Both were great. My wife got a Cesar salad and raved about the dressing which we were informed was home made. Only negative thing is that we were charged per drink on the soda pop and not warned about it.
What a find ! Amazing menu. Definitely some creative recipes here. We drove 2 hours to get here, on a friend's recommendation. Worth the effort. You have to visit. Need reservations.
Their seared salmon was better than Key West's. Scallops cooked perfectly. Filet was...wow !

Really lovely place for lunch or dinner, well rounded menu, wonderful staff . We will certainly do this again.
First time here on a Friday night with (6 pm reservations). The atmosphere was cozy and the wait staff were attentive. My flank steak salad was very tasty and came with excellent green goddess dressing. My daughter thought the meatloaf was good, but bland for her liking. A little pricey menu, overall a nice dining experience Barbara you were a hoot!.
We stopped here for lunch in the middle of a bike ride. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of menu items, familiar but with a twist. The staff was attentive and pleasant and the food was superb. Portion sizes were perfect. They even filled up our water bottles with ice and water for us when e left to continue our ride. A perfect place to stop.
where to start? upon arrival it took 10 minutes to be seated with a reservation and nobody ahead of us. the kitchen door is wide open overlooking the lobby and was loud and noisy. i am sure it is left open due to the heat but come on add some a/c for your folks.
the decor is a cross between historical williamsburg and coastal south carolina. the brightly colored orange colored walls make no sense. the food was good but overpriced. craft sandwiches, a pasta dish and burgers would bring make it more affordable and in line with the basic atmosphere. current pricing is commensurate with an upscale restaurant which it is not. the service was very good.
my meal was luke warm but i was afraid to send it back due to the owner being very aggressive and rude.
she is missing the part of treating your patrons as guests not adversary's. you can read this in multiple other reviews. if you don't like people get into another business !
this place has a lot of potential with some well needed adjustments, just have be able to accept constructive criticism.
Went for valentine's day. Could not have been better. Service and food were outstanding love that Barbara herself answered the phone to take reservations and welcomed us as we were seated. My only recommendation would be to add the ribye steak on the regular menu. It was one of the best steaks I ever had. And big enough to have the other half for lunch the next day. We will definitely be back.
