After settling into Hilton Hotel, my girlfriend and I stopped in for lunch and drinks. It was about 2:30 in the afternoon. It was in between the lunch crowd and dinner crowd, so not many people. We chose a booth at the window. I ordered the Beach Bum Martini, and my buddy ordered the Mixed Berry Margarita. Both were excellent. We ordered the Salmon plate and Mushroom Spinach Flatbread. Both were excellent. If I ever find myself in Michigan again, I'll have to go back!
We had a great dinner here. The service was amazing. Our ladies were so attentive and caring. The food was delicious and fresh. The ambiance was beautiful sitting outside. They also give you a free appetizer when you sign up on the Bar Louie app. I can tell these guys want to stay in business so just keep doing your thing.
So delicious!! This wasn’t the first time I’ve been here but it had been awhile and I’m so glad I came back! We had a group of 2 kids and 3 adults. I didn’t get a photo of the calamari because we ate it so fast, best calamari I’ve had in years!
The kids meals were a nice size and they had a nice variety of options. They orders the burgers w/ fries and the Mac & cheese.
My sister had the Caesar Salad with shrimp which she said was great, especially with the charred lemon. My brother in law had a delicious burger with an egg (I snagged a bite!) and I had the Philly cheesesteak dip which was fantastic!! The tater tots were a huge hit all around so definitely get those.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the restrooms were clean too. The staff even handed us a giant candy cane when they saw us taking photos so we could have some extra fun! Overall a great experience on our way back to Lansing from Detroit.
It’s a nice bar with outdoor patios. I’d love to enjoy outdoor seats next time.
Came here after watching a movie with a group of friends at a nearby movie theater. This place had little to no wait, decent food, and a spot to catch up with great conversations. The food came out pretty fast and was ok...nothing really outside the norm. I had a burger with fully loaded fries and the jalopeno honey bone-in wings. The deep south mac and cheese disappointed my hubs but the voodoo pasta was a thumbs up from our friend. Another friend had the bourbon bbq burger and he said it was ok. I didn't take pictures of my wings and the other meals our friends had because I got distracted when my wings arrived.
Oh, btw the server was great! He was attentive and kind and when we asked another staff for more napkins she was nice about our request, as well.
I'm just glad we were able to find a place last minute with no wait on a Saturday night.
It was my first time. Very good experience. Hannah was amazing, non stop serving us. Food drink’s everything was very good.
This was my first time at Bar Louie, and I have to say it has pretty the same atmosphere as the other bars at Twelve Mile Crossing. They played sports on the TVs and pop music (which was kind of loud; it made it hard to hear our waitress). The staff were friendly and the service was quick. The food was pretty good, but the drinks were better. Would come again for the drinks alone.
It was a busy Saturday night. Staffing seemed to be the problem. Food was late getting out, but the waitress did warn of that. Was not happy with the store sticker that was left on the orange peel in my drink, made me question how sanitary the bar was. It's the little things.
