My experience was okay. Food was alright. I had to give 5 stars to service because our server told us he had to do a double shift and that he had been there since 11am and wouldn't get off until 2am. Someone called off and it was Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. He literally was doing everything. He was the host greeted us at the door, sat us down, took my friend's and my order, and was also serving drinks at the bar. It was early in the afternoon so he wasn't tired yet. But seeing him run around the restaurant making sure the diners had a good experience was admirable to watch. I hope the day got better for him and the other server that was their with him. They basically was running the whole restaurant by themselves.
I wish there was a 4 1/2 star rating. The lunch menu was excellent, and reasonably priced. Service was adequate. Not bad....... just okay. Unfortunately many service related businesses have forgotten that servers are the identity of a
bar/restaurant. A professional bartender should know how and when to connect with a customer. She was just okay....... not bad, just okay. It's what makes the difference between a reasonably satisfied client and a return customer on a regular basis.
I placed an order on DoorDash for wings and fries. I placed my order at 10:20pm and waited. At 11:45pm I noticed I hadn’t received my order and my dasher had left the restaurant because my order was still not complete. I was then assigned a new dasher who also waited for an additional 20 minutes. I called the store and the woman who answered the phone was displeased I was calling about my order. I was then told at 12:00am they were out of chicken so I would have to cancel my order , while knowing if i cancelled on my end it would result in me not receiving my refund. I never cancelled the order so I’m assuming the server sent out a random old order cause that’s exactly what I received. I called today to get some type of accommodation which I didn’t get after spending $60 and receiving no refund because it was through a third party. By far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I love the franchise but this experience has put a horrible taste in my mouth. Management needs to do better and keep food stocked for paying customers.
Service was extremely good. Appetizers and entrees were slightly above par. I wouldn't get the Buffalo chips again as they are only chips with some Buffalo sauce and cheese. Fried pickles were a little soggy, everything else was delicious. I would go back when in town to watch sports. Great bar.
I love the outside seating and the flies do to. I had 2 tasty wildberry margaritas, I could feel that they actually had alcohol in them. The food was good but the cook couldn't bring his or her self to cook my steak well done even after I sent it back. The seasoning on the steak was very flavorful. I enjoyed it overall.
VERY disappointed by our carry out from this past Friday. The chicken nachos were ridiculous. I've ordered in the past and they were a decent size with generous toppings. This time, the toppings were different and were in teeny, tiny containers (think one ounce plastic cups). Not enough toppings for the chips (which weren't all that many, either). At $16 I'd expect a decent amount of food. Shame on Bar Louie--we will not be back. Hope you go out of business soon.
I can't rate the food because I haven't eaten here. I have been popping in for Thursday nights. They have drink specials and a great DJ, DJ Krazy Keith with Party it Up Events; spinning tunes after 9 pm. The bartender is super awesome, and the staff has been friendly and accommodating. It's definitely worth a stop in if you're staying at the surrounding hotels, and are bored, hungry, or thirsty!
