The waitress was very friendly and the food was delicious, probably the best French Onion Soup I've ever had. Also the Spinach Artichoke dip was really good too. We were so hungry that we ate half of it before getting pics???????????????? ooops
Went to Bar Louie for the first time since its been at this location. Always kind of forgot since there are so many options. I was missing out! We started off with the chicken nachos plenty for 4 people to share! They were some of the best nachos I've had in this area for a long time. Loaded with toppings, the queso and the sauce they put on is delightful and they don't skimp. I actually ended up enjoying them so much I couldn't even eat my chicken sandwich I ordered and had to take it for carry out. The chicken sandwich was also absolutely delightful even the next day which is hard to come by. The food presentation LOOKED delicious like a picture from the menu. Service was good and we never had to wait long for anything. Nachos came out quickly and entree was spaced with enough time to enjoy those first. Kudos to Bar Louie for great food AND service which since covid seems like its impossible to find anymore. Forgot pics this time but will definitely include next time.Prices are a little pricier but it's worth every penny.
All was good. Unfortunately there was a table of very loud women right behind us. Not the restaurant's fault but their cackle seemed to bounce off every hard surface. Looks great. Noise level not good!
This was our 2nd time visiting this bar while traveling and it did not disappoint. The happy hour specials were amazing the drinks were delicious and our waiters, Camille and Chris were absolutely outstanding.
The bar is clean and not too loud and they had a great selection of both food and alcoholic beverages. The flatbreads were a favorite and I would highly recommend trying them.

If mediocre had its own bar, it would here. I’ve been going to Bar Louie for many years and let me tell you, ever since the new location opened a few years ago, the overall experience has gone down hill. They cut back their food portions, such as with the voodoo chicken (now known as voodoo pasta); since they removed the chicken, and then had the audacity to raise their prices on food items with smaller portions across the board. The alcoholic beverages are wildly overpriced, while the cocktail menu has very few winners in my opinion. But what set me off the most was that I was just in there on a weeknight and sat at the bar for nearly 10 minutes, completely ignored, without so much as a greeting. There were even two bartenders working and the entire place was not even remotely busy. I just got up and left. The worst part is that it was not the first time something similar had happened. The best thing about this establishment is the location and the size. If a similar concept with corporate chain level resources opened up nearby, this place would almost certainly go out of business within a couple years.
I stopped in for a drink and early dinner around 5pm on a Friday. It wasn't crowded, and I easily found a chair at the bar. I ordered a mojito, and was only able to manage 2 or 3 sips from the glass. First, it was too sweet, and second, the mint leaves were in perfect condition, no muddling at all, as were the lime wedges. I had the quesadillas off of the appetizer menu for my meal. The sauce added to these was too much for me. It had a greasy quality and just wasn't great. I ate most of this but couldn't finish the dish. The service was slow and inattentive - the bar wasn't full, and there were at least 3 people working the bar, maybe 4, but the servers seemed very indifferent and inattentive. I came to this restaurant because it had good reviews, but honestly, I just didn't like my experience.
I enjoyed the food and atmosphere at this location. The staff is amazing and my waitress made great drink recommendations. This is a great place to have a late night dinner with friends.
Always being a fan of Bar Louie as a “comfort” bar known around the US we were excited when they moved to this location. We had a horrible experience when they first opened, although, it was due to an inappropriate server not a reflection of the restaurant itself.
Just recently we decided to give the bar another try on date night and we were overall disappointed. Our server was friendly, and knowledgeable and the drinks were ok but that is where the compliments end.
The amount of fruit flies surrounding our drinks was almost comical. The environment was dirty, seats slightly sticky, crumbs from the previous guest still residing on the table. It felt more like a local dive bar rather than the clean household name you are expecting.
Such a waste for a beautiful building. Management should take a trip out to this location and reset employee expectations for a higher guest experience. We will gladly wait another couple years before trying again.
