Not sure how this place has 4.6 star review. Where do I even start? First of the amount of teenagers running around fighting with the cleaning bottles and brooms, cussing, and being just plain obnoxious was awful. They had a band playing in the main dining area. It was so loud you couldn't even have a conversation with the people at your table. We moved to the other dining area. It was so hot and smokey in there I couldn't even enjoy my dinner I packed it to go. The server walking around drinking her own beer vs tending to patrons was over the top. The burgers my table order were supposed to be medium, needless to say the cooked the life, flavor, and juice right out of them. I don't even need to bother reviewing the rest of the food as it wasn't worthy of a review. Go elsewhere.
Bar down is hands down the best. We came for taco Tuesday. I was going to take a pic but they were gone too quickly. The new owners are very accommodating. The food is great! Minimal wait time and it was all delicious! We will be back soon!
Went to bar down sports bar for the first time last week. I dig the commitment to the local hockey community and the food and service was top notch. The wings and the pizza were very good. I had the chance to speak to one of the owners while I was there and she couldn’t have been nicer. Not only do they have the bar and restaurant experience they are also part of the local hockey community which makes this all that much more genuine. I would definitely encourage you to give them a shot. We will be back!!
The food options were great and tasty. Service was friendly. Plenty of seating so you can watch TV if you choose. Everything was clean. We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. If you are there for the hockey rink, be sure to go upstairs. We just went for dinner and it was good.

Had a great time at Bar Down. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Large bar area with lots of TV’s. Great spot to watch playoff hockey! Margo the owner is a sweetheart. Highly recommend!
The area was spotless, the food was delicious, the service was fast and friendly. Bright and cheerful atmosphere, and I loved all the community based hockey jerseys hanging on the walls. The owners even stopped by our party frequently to see if we needed anything and to make sure we were doing ok. Fantastic custumer service. Highly recommend!
Super convenient for hockey families after a game. Good food and drinks. Great place to watch the game. Unfortunately, the new ownership is not very tolerant of hockey kids. They were screamed at by the staff the entire time for the most mundane, 8 year old activities. Know your target audience.
