Best quick affordable food on Divis. The rice plate for $10 is a steal. You can get two meals out of it, healthy and filling
Cheap and fast, literally no frills! Love the cold cut and fish banh mi. The veggies are super fresh and crunchy and the sauce is the perfect amount. Used to come here a lot after yoga across the street, would just go in with my order and sun tan outside while I wait.
Really great place and the best deal around whether you want a quick lunch or ask them to slice them into five for a picnic in the pan handle.
Dinosaur has a lot more melted mayo in theirs. Viet has moe veggies. The meat is pretty similar so you won’t be disappointed
I got the combo meat and it is easily my favorite banh mi in the city. Flavors were good, ratios were on point, the ingredients were nicely layered horizontally rather than next to each other. BUT my boyfriend got the chicken and he didn’t like it. He said that the chicken had too much bbq sauce, his sandwich was missing jalapeños, and his had the common sandwich problem where some ingredients are all the way one on side.
Super good cheap eats! The beef vermicelli was super fresh, excellent flavorful Vietnamese beef and a HUGE portion! … and it was $10!! Definitely coming back to try other delights. Super good find!
No seating but don’t let this stop you from grabbing something fresh and authentic from this little Vietnamese gem!
Stopped by randomly after smelling something delicious on the street. So glad I did.
Coffee is amazing, would highly recommend. I had a beef sandwich, really delicious. There was a good proportion of meat to veges. Also the pâté was probably the best I've had a in a while, strong flavored and does just taste like butter. Give this place a shot!
This is the only lunch I've found so far in SF that is quick, affordable, healthy, and delicious. Banh mi for only $9???????????? I love the rice plate a lot. Thank you!
The cold cuts sandwich was underwhelming. Maybe the problem was my expectations after reading all the reviews. I would prefer more sauce (it felt a little too dry), less carrot, and maybe more meat. But the price is fantastic (even if the sandwich size is a bit smaller than in some other places). Disclaimer: the sandwich in the picture is half-eaten.
