Always a solid place for a quick, affordable lunch. I've never had anything other than the veggie sandwich but I always enjoy it! Had it today with a Coke and the bread was crunchy, veggies were high quality, and the tofu was very flavorful. A friend of mine really likes the vermicelli so I'll have to try that next time.
With the disaster that was Midnite Bagel occupying this space so briefly, I hope this family-run spot is open for years to come!

Stopped by to take food to go. Ordered the combo banh mi and an order of fried imperial rolls.
Both were very tasty! The combo had a lot of meat... Ham, pork and pate! ???? Bread was excellent ????.
The imperial rolls were nicely fried with good flavor. Would definitely come back again for more delicious banh mi sandwiches!

First time trying this spot and split a fried fish banh mi and a five spice chicken banh mi with my partner and we loved it! The protein, pickled veggies and bread were all so good and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. Excited to come back to this neighborhood spot.
super friendly staff and incredible bahn mi! ordered the crunch combo and the chicken bahn mis and wow the flavors were incredible. amazing ratio between meat, veggies, sauce, and bread (and everything tasted so fresh). 10/10 recommend.
My first thought upon trying the braised tofu and mushroom banh mi was “wow this is super crunchy”. It’s fair to say it might even be the crunchiest baguette I’ve ever had, but the inside is still nice and soft. This is definitely one of the better tofu banh mi’s I’ve tried too. It has a nice flavor, and the tofu is juicy yet still firm. I also ordered the 5-spice chicken banh mi since a sign near the register indicated there’s a $10 minimum charge to pay with credit card. I didn’t like it as much because some of the bites of chicken were sinewy and not chewable. Other than that, I’m not big on dark meat, but I gave it a go, and it just wasn’t for me. I would come back for the tofu banh mi and to try other items though.
Late review for a great new addition to an area flush with places to eat. Stopped by on whim and found a very simple and small space with a few counter stools. Menu included varieties of banh mi and cha gio (fried spring rolls), drinks and noodle dishes. I had the lemongrass tofu banh mi (though the meat options smelled and looked so tasty), and cha gio.
The bread was great, perfectly soft and crunchy, and the pickled radish and carrots were fresh and abundant. Lots of tofu that was seasoned well. It was a generous portion, made to order (extra jalapenos and veggies). The rolls were crispy and chewy and reminded me of how my mom used to make it-which is saying a lot. The sauce was authentic and came with rice noodles, mint and lettuce. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a filling and tasty Vietnamese street
food. Service was attentive (a kind older man) and wait time was average (approx. 10 minutes).
Excellent combo crunch banh mi. Crunchy baguette. Juicy, moist filling. Generous meat to bread ratio. I'll def return to try the other menu items!
Great location, close to golden gate park. I got the sate beef sandwich, which was very flavourful. I liked that the buns weren't so crispy that they cut up the inside of your mouth while you eat it. Went with some friends, picked up sandwiches, and went to golden gate park for a picnic. I would recommend for a quick pick up food
