Wow!!!! the banh cuon I can say it's the best in San Diego
We ordered a party tray of half and half. Half bánh cuốn which is stuffed with meat and the plain, bánh ướt. The tray came with two rows of sliced meat loaf on top and one row of fried meat loaf. Also came with an entire take out box of filled with veggies and a soup container of fish sauce.
The fried meat loaf was so good. I wish it came with more. The steamed rolls had lots of meat and the plain was nice and thin not so thick. All the flavors meshed together when you add the veggies and sauce.
The tray cost $35 and fed four of us. We also got the meat loaf roll on the side for extra meat and that cost a whopping $7 which is a lot compared to other places.
I would recommend ordering the tray if you have more than two people. You get the best bang for your buck.
Parking here is super tight. I always fear that I’ll get a hit and run and would park really far just to get some space.
My favorite banh cuon place. Love the meat that come with it. Always go for the Dac biet banh cuon. The bun rieu is ok, but I’ve had better else where in San Diego. I also would recommend the fried pork roll to take home. They sell those in the front. Taste great in bread when sliced, like a Vietnamese banh mi.
I was literally standing right outside the door in direct line of sight of the dude who took my order. He couldn't pay enough attention to notice my food was ready to wave me in? Granted, he was digging through his Cup of Noodles, but I'm a paying customer who wants my food so I can get on my 6 hours drive.
Food was yummy, service was lacking.

They have very little in menu. Thats formula to make them the best quality.
