Bamboo is an old-time favorite. We had an early dinner, and as always, we enjoyed the food and the drinks. Menu was huge, plenty of options. We had multiple questions. Unfortunately, our server had to go back and forth to the kitchen to answer them, but overall service was ok. Sushi was delicious - fresh , just perfect. Duck was great. I fall in love with their pistachios martini. Overall, it was a great experience.
My daughter and I finished a late game of mini-golf and the restaurant we were going to go to had closed for the evening. I am so glad that it did! Started with the Hot and Sour Soup. The flavors were great and it had a nice kick. We then ordered their version of a PuPu platter. I think they call it the BoBo platter. The food was cooked perfect. It had spring rolls instead of egg rolls. I'm an egg roll fan but these are delicious. The shrimp were cooked in a modern style with panko, also delicious. Everything on the platter was great! For our entrée we got Shrimp with Lobster Sauce and Pork Fried Rice. I'm very picky about my Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. The Shrimp were large and perfectly cooked. The Lobster Sauce was delicious! No complaints about the Pork Fried Rice! We like to visit the cape and eat a lot of seafood. This will be our place for the non-seafood nights. If you are traveling from outside New England. Do yourself a favor and try New England Chinese Food!
Staff and management are incredibly rude and disrespectful- towards each other and towards patrons. I’ve witnessed on at least 3 occasions staff leave the bathrooms without washing their hands after going as well- absolutely disgusting. I’ve also seen open containers of meat near their back door that was opened. I’m sure that’s sanitary. I’m done going here after years of going and giving them chances just to be mostly let down in many aspects- mostly service and pricing for portions and amounts of ingredients in dishes. Here’s a pic from my recent “experience” here. Gotta love artificial boxes of stuff they’re pushing off as fancy with $20+ rolls of sushi. This same trip the 2 servers absolutely belittled the busser and very rudely told him what to do in front of me and my wife multiple times. We felt very uncomfortable for him and that they so candidly told him what to do when they’re on the same level and should politely ask him to get waters etc. The owners and managers are very clearly awful people, and not great at what they do. Employing very rude servers and they themselves lacking in accountability.
Whenever we are vacationing in Cape Cod we always stop here on the way home, one of my favorite Asian restaurants. Period. The food is always amazing I love their sushi and Peking duck dishes. Also the fish in their fish tank are cute. When in Cape Cod it’s a must to come here!
The restaurant was clean. Our waitress was attentive. The food was delicious. I didn't order sushi but the sushe menu was nice. I recommend this restaurant
It was OK. Waitress took a while to come over. After placing our drinks order we told her we would need a little more time. That little more time to her was about 7 minutes. When she came back we started to order from the lunch special menu and she stated "no specials today because of Labor Day". It would have been nice if either her or the hostess told us this after we spent all of that time looking at the menu!
Told her we needed a few more minutes where she then came back quicker this time for us to place the order. My house lo mein came out first and I had to wait 4-5 minutes before my significant other's meal to come out! By that time my meal was already cold to warm and it wasn't enjoyable. Why would you do that??? Probably won't be back.
Bamboo is a beautiful place. Very nice experience. Staff was very attentive. There is plenty of seating and a full bar. The food is great and presentation very nice. Sushi is great quality and delicious. If you like Sake they have plenty to choose from. If you are in or near Hyannis on Cape Cod, then treat yourself to a great experience here. We will go here again!!!
Decor is great. Foods are great too.
The fried green bean is very tasty. But the sushi sashimi boat for two doesn’t even include rice, so we had to pay $7 for two small bowl of rice.
Service is inconsistent since the waitress missed our hot tea orders while busy complaining the previous customer didn’t give her decent tips!
