Best WLM Reviews
Ordered delivery and our food arrived timely and still very hot. The hot & sour soup was flavorful and very hearty. The crab rangoon was some of the best I've had and the huge egg rolls were also good. We ordered two types of beef - Szechwan and Hunan - one with mushrooms added. It was impossible to tell them apart both visually and by flavor so I'm not convinced that we weren't given two of the same dish. After lots of digging around, one of them did have a few small mushrooms pieces but for $1.25 extra, I would have expected to have a noticeable amout of them. Both dishes were indicated as spicy on the menu but both really lacked flavor which was surprising since the soup and apps were great. Overall, everything was decent but we wouldn't order the beef items again.
The missus was nice enough to get me food from here earlier (after finding out Hop Sings was closed). I asked for an order of garlic chicken, with finely diced onions and green peppers, mushrooms and water chestnuts. The onions and peppers were Huge strips that were not throughly cooked, there was no water chestnuts and only 2 mushrooms… it was also like warm (we live 1/8 mile away), it was almost like they tried to rush through cooking it. Definitely won’t be ordering from them again
My husband and I ordered General Tso's meals. Neither of us could finish it because the meat was hard, chewy and just didn't look like chicken when we cut it. It was a browish gray color and just didn't taste good. However, the rice was cooked well.
Food was amazing. Portions were huge. If you want to get carry out this is your go to place!! For $9.99 you get enough to almost feed two. Plus egg roll. Tons of fried rice. The sesame chicken was great. Unfortunately we were not from area so we ate in. Eat in area was freezing. Ate on Styrofoam plates with plastic forks. $2.00 for bottled lemonade. There is quite the language barrier too. Like I said, amazing food, huge amounts and good price. But suggest carry out. Even if eating in car.
I got chicken pad Thai, which Was drowning in only sweet-and-sour sauce. It was so sweet I could not force it down and threw it all out. Nothing in it but chicken and noodles. I told him pad Thai is made with soy, oyster, fish sauce, vinegar. Should not be sweet or bright orange. Honestly, it’s the most disgusting food I’ve ever tasted in my life.
It was OK but not great. I got the General Tso's Chicken. I've always thought of the dish as being mildly spicy and the sauce being thinner, like a glace. However this was thicker than ketchup and sweeter than most BBQ sauces! The fried rice was about as bland as plain rice. All in all, not impressive.
Wonderful taste to all 4 meals we order for family. Huge egg rolls with great flavor, sweet and sour soup warmed us right up. The orange chicken has a great tangy sauce our meal was divine!!!
Awful. The fried rice had the same texture and taste as the steamed rice. It clumped together, was gooey, and had little to no flavor. Every time I eat there, I remember why I dislike it so much.
