Was my first time there today. The person who was supposed to start my hair left so someone else did. I tried feeling my hair to see if the braids were to my liking so I told her and asked her to take them down. Seems as if she was pulling my hair overly tighter than before. Every braid she did u kept taking down to do over repeatedly pulling my hair overly tight until I made her get out my head. Never would I go back there to get my hair done. Not to mention once my hair was dipped in hot water my hair was left soaking wet like dry my hair it’s cold outside. TERRIBLE
I can remember way back many, many years when the African braiding shops sprang up all over wherever there were "African Americans" in Minnesota. I was so excited because now I didn't have to braid my own hair and I could go to people whom I thought would care about American Black womens' hair as we did. Boy was I wrong. After going to these shops over many years, I finally found someone who I feel is the real deal. That is Bamba!! She takes the time to listen to you about how you want your hair braided. She is fast and very, very good and she stands by her work. She don't want you coming back talking about your hair wasn't done right ????. She takes pride in her work. If there may have been some type of a slight mistake she will correct that mistake for you. No harm done. Sometimes people will come and try to get their whole head done over after a week for free. I don't blame anyone for not doing that one ???? I am very picky about my hair and paying a lot of money getting my hair done. I don't mind paying for what I am requesting within reason. Bamba's attitude is great. You can feel that while her hands are in your head. She is not pulling your hair and snatching your head. You don't hear your hair breaking as she is braiding or twisting. As I stated, I have been going to the African braiding shops for many, many years and so far, she is A#1 in my book????????????????
Love my natural hair box braids (no hair added). The person who did my hair did it neat and so cute. It took about 2.5 hours as i have a lot of hair. I will be going back
I was told I would get a call back once someone arrived. I indeed received the call. Very nice and kind. The AC was out of order but they opened the door and let the breeze on in. Kind and welcoming to everyone that entered. I'll be coming back.
