This may be my new spot because I love Benachin and this one was perfect. I ordered extra vegetables on the side, but the sauce in the vegetables taste like it came out of a meat stew. I was assuming steamed veggies or something, but I really didn’t mind and ate it all. I don’t like these french fries and somewhere overcooked. I prefer they pick a different type of french fry. The plantains were burnt. I wouldn’t have put them in the box burnt. Just make more plantains. The drink was delicious. The grilled lamb was tasty. I want more of those mustard onions that came with the grilled lamb. I definitely order from this place again and their prices are fair with great portion sizes. I am glad I found this one, but I’m not ordering plantains or fries again, lol.
2 days ago we ordered mafe (we ate in the restaurant) and some other items the food had a Clorox wipe in the food. Smh then the cook got mad at us. I was really upset my husband wanted to pay (and he did) this is the second time some foolishness has happened. A month ago went for fish and rice and food was spoiled they wouldn’t take it back. I tried them again because my husband is new to the area and he is also from same country. I will never give them a chance again. They should be closed and I need a refund.
One of the best authentic african food spots in atlanta ! I struggled with finding some good african food spots but a friend took me here and I fell in love !!! Felt like home !
Super authentic African food. Everything we had was delicious and fresh. The portions are sizeable and we ended up taking some to go. I'll definitely be coming back whenever I'm in Atlanta.
The food and flavors is really great. I’ve been eating here the past two months and I’m not sure what was going on with the food today. I’m a bit disappointed. The chicken and rice was ice cold. He took the food to the back. Sounds like he kept opening and closing a microwave. Now my stomach is hurting from eating the food. I won’t be back.

I am Rwandan, went with a friend from Ivory Coast and we both felt “home”. Incredibly authentic cuisine! Very welcoming atmosphere & staff. Would love to see live Senegalese music maybe in the summer time in the yard, right outside. God bless your business!
