Best WLM Reviews
My husband took me here for date night. The atmosphere is nice, Location provides ample parking & the wait wasn’t bad with no reservations. I am from VA & my husband is from MD! We have high expectations when it comes to good quality seafood. This location did not disappoint! Food was seasoned extremely well, ingredients were fresh & we enjoyed or experience. My waiter, would not give recommendations, which was strange and a first for us. Especially if you work at a restaurant, you should be able to provide some type of recommendations based on the pallet of your customer. Opportunities for improvement, food, coming out really hot, pull back from the salt, food coming out faster & better training for the servers.
I had the lobster chowder as an appetizer. It came out hot and tasty. My main course was the lamb chops. They were delicious! It was cooked and seasoned so well. I just wish they were bigger. I also had the Kale and Smoked Turkey as a side. That was also very good! My friends had crab fingers (very good), salmon sliders, and the lobster and shrimp fried rice (decent). We also had a couple of mixed drinks, too. And we enjoyed the DJ that was there on Wednesday night, when we went there. Played a great selection of music. Had us dancing in our seats and on the floor. I will definitely go back!
To celebrate Black History Month in 2024, I wanted to go to a Black owned restaurant and chose this one! Our waiter/server Justin was amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable about their menu items and friendly. I actually loved every item I ordered! I’ve never had Lobster and Shrimp fried rice. I asked for Soy Sauce and didn’t even need it, because it was seasoned perfectly! It was loaded with lobster and shrimp! ???? I also recommend the Sweet Potato corn muffins and the Blue crab fingers! The next time I’m in Atlanta, I will definitely be visiting again!
Food was good I would come bk. A lil salty for my taste. Overall a 3.7 rating. Nice lil place to for a new experience. Not to expensive $$. Our server was really nice and funny ????. The men that work I. Kitchen are a thirsty when they see attractive women.
A friend and I decided to try this place out a few weeks back and to my surprise the experience wasn’t all that great. There was an hour wait time and the food was not good enough for waiting an hour for a small table.
Honestly, I can’t believe I ordered a Cajun pasta and it wasn’t even spicy. I called the server over to ask why my pasta wasn’t Cajun and he said we use some Cajun when making it, but there isn’t any Cajun sauce or anything like that included. I was flabbergasted and disappointed.
The server offered me red flakes to add on the pasta to give it spice. Not to mention I paid $16 for lobster meat in my pasta and I received a few small pieces instead.
Now, my server was decent and cool. Considering he had way too many tables to attend to and he gave me a free drink because someone didn’t want it. The drinks weren’t that great either. I was surprised it tasted like peach juice from the supermarket, and I never got a slight buzz at all. I will never eat here again though I try to support black businesses; it’s exhausting because of the lack of care and the fact that they are not doing their best to give a pleasant experience.
This is my third visit and probably my last! It’s average to say the least! Had the lobster chowder this time it was hot and good last time it was cold! I had the kale and chicken salad! The chicken was so salty that I pushed it to the side and ate the kale salad! I told the waiter and he just stood there. The mango martini was good but in such a small glass! In my opinion we have got to do better to really have repeat and happy customers! I enjoyed my friend and that is why I stayed and didn’t send food back this time!
This was an amazing experience. It was so delicious. I forgot to capture all that was ordered..lol until after our plates were clean! Hahahahaha! The service and the food were awesome. My friends and I needed an intimate spot to catch up, I will be back!
We ordered the following...
-Salmon Sliders
-Spinach Salmon Dip
- Macrooni and Cheese
-Kale
-Cabbage
-Brocoolini
Sis, let me put you on – this spot is the real deal! It's like one of the few places keeping Atlanta together on the food front, and I'm here for it. Named after the crab cake haven that is Maryland, and trust, it lives up to the hype. While they may not be lump crab, they've got this flavor game on lock, and bonus – no unnecessary fillers. It's a taste experience that's absolutely worth a try.
Now, let's talk about those drinks. They're on another level. The bartender? An absolute delight. I stepped in feeling like a celebrity, and who wouldn't love that vibe? Atlanta's got a gem with this spot, and I'm already planning my return. It's more than a meal; it's an experience, a flavorful journey that pays homage to the city it's named after. If you're in the A, you gotta hit up this place – it's a vibe, a taste sensation, and an all-around good time. Can't wait to be back in there! Also the ambience is not the same old flowers and neon lights that everyone is putting up as decor. No. This has its own charm and flavor.
