This is a quaint little establishment. The staff are so pleasant and friendly! Their skinny margarita is absolutely amazing! (I don’t even drink margaritas lol) The food wasn’t amazing, but it was good!
Great authentic food and attentive staff!! Our waitress was sweet, and we also had Chef Hector visit our table with sample Fiesta Shrimp. Yum! Sometimes the best places are the hole in the walls. Happy my hubby did a Google, finding this page with high reviews. Try it out, it won't disappoint.
It's not fancy, but it's comforting. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. The menu has a lot of variety. I got a shredded beef burrito and my husband got a Cuban sandwich. Every but of both dishes was tasty, including the rice, beans, and fries. My husband said the margaritas were the best he's ever had! Overall, it is a great place for comfort food.
Just happened to drive by Balsas before a hike so I decided to stop on my way back home. SO good. I mean SO GOOD! Everything is made in-house. Delicious salsa, freshly made quacamole, and Jalapas Mussels were ????!!! I brought the broth home with me, that’s how good it was. The staff were also super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I will make it a point to come back.
The food was very appetizing and tasted just as good. I ordered a margarita which I don't usually do but it was so delicious that I ordered 2 more just to make sure. LOL. They were pretty, strong, and affordable. The service was excellent and even the owner came and sat down with us and talked for a while. We will definitely go back again.
This was my first time dining at this establishment. The food was delicious. From the salsa all the way to the entree. The portions are more than enough. Best taco's I've ever had and chips are light but quiet tasty. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving them a try. I promise you that I will be returning myself.
Delicious and fast! This is one of our favorite lunch spots. Definitely the best chips and salsa in town
My husbands friend recommended the Balsas Burger at Rio Balsas, said it was the best burger in town and boy was she right! 2 beef patties with double cheese, lettuce, tomato and chipotle mayo, 4-5 crispy onion rings on a soft buttery bun, comes with seasoned, crispy fries with a soft center. Just how I like them. I ordered it Medium done and there was no pink and it was still juicy. So unexpected from a Mexican food restaurant. Very filling and I have to agree, the best burger in town. Chef Hector is awesome!
