Best WLM Reviews
This establishment changed ownership about a year ago.
The Good:
*Our food came out of the kitchen fairly quickly.
*Service was adequate despite there being a sizable language barrier.
*The restaurant and restroom were fairly clean.
The Bad:
*The lighting here was dark and garish. This place was virtually devoid of atmosphere.
*Our burritos were more full of rice than anything. They were fairly bland. It would have been nice if they had bothered to garnish the burritos or serve a salsa or two alongside the burritos.
*The music was way too loud. Whoever was controlling the music switched between Bob Marley, The Carpenters, and Latino music (among others) playing only snippets of songs each time. It was surreal.
*You have to pay for parking (cash only). The staff will gladly exchange bills for quarters.
I would recommend choosing another Latino restaurant rather than this one.
I went to this place for a birthday celebration and I had a blast.. We ordered seafood soup baleadas and pupusas. It was all DELICIOUS. I also had Micheladas and must say is one of the best I’ve ever had.
I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back to try the rest of their menu.
Nice family run business. Everything was so good. Not pictured was the pollo saltado, it was honestly amazing. They packaged it very well. And even cut a hole on top so the fries stay fresh. The food lasted me two days. I’ll be going back.
Very nice Restaurant with Latin Flavor Salvadorean & Honduran food
We were pleased with the quality of the food at this establishment. While conducting business in Maryland, we sought a nearby restaurant with high-quality cuisine. After reviewing the options, we decided to dine at this restaurant. The baleadas were exceptional, and the service was commendable. Although the restaurant was vacant upon our arrival, we departed feeling satisfied and satiated. The pricing was appropriate considering the portion size and quality of the food. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and will gladly return when in the vicinity.
Everything was perfect.
Food was delicious and such generous portions.
Service was best we ever experienced.
And the place is just sparkling clean
Price is just so so good for the quality and portions.
Will definitely go back
We loved the family feel of the restaurant. The food was outstanding! Our waiter, Eric, was very kind and courteous and made us feel right at home! We loved the authentic quisine especially the papusas, quesadillas, and shrimp tacos! We will be back for sure!
A quiet gem in Wheaton. Located in a small strip mall with metered parking and a weekend free parking garage. The carne asada was delicious as well as the fried fish. Portions are perfect and the service was outstanding. We can’t wait to come back for more phenomenal food.
