I have been coming here for years, but don’t get to go as often now because I used to work in the area, but got to go today and it is the same amount of delicious since the first day I ever ate here! They have had the same manager for years. The sandwiches are always consistently amazing with fresh baked bread! They have a special each day of the week that’s a bargain for the price! And…. If you ask, they will grill your sandwich and make it a hot sandwich!! They also have fresh made macaroni salad, pasta salad, and potato salad as sides instead of chips. And… they have spaghetti and meatballs! It’s such an authentic Jersey sub shop feel but located right here in the South all these years. If your in the area and want a fresh made sun, this is the place!!
Baldinos is a delicious fast-casual culinary landmark in Doraville serving some of the best subs outside of Jersey. I enjoyed the Pepper Steak sub and pasta salad. Any of the Italian subs are a must eat, and order your subs the “Baldinos’ Way”. They also have good spaghetti and meatballs (ask for additional sauce). I'll be back soon to try their meatball and marinated chicken salad subs.
If you like subs with lots of meat and great sauces, this is the place to go. Baldino's has been around for 40+ years and now I know why -- the subs are fantastic.
I ordered "The Sicilian" which comes with double cheese, triple cappacola (awesome!), and pepperoni. The douse it with some vinegar and oil and some spices and when you get it, it's perfectly saturated so that the bottom half of the bread is moist but not so wet that it falls apart. Perfect!

Wow!! Amazing spot! First off, we were greeted with super friendly and smiling staff. We explained we had never been there before, so they explained the gist of things. I ordered the half pepper steak with provolone, and my husband ordered the half Italian Battalion. Wowza!!! They ain’t joking when they say GIANT! Even the half size were huge! We had white bread and it was so soft and delicious. The potato salad and sweet tea tasted like grandma just made them. All in all, fantabulous experience. We can’t wait to go back! They have specials each day of the week that changes monthly. Great deal! I’m sorry I didn’t get pictures of our sandwiches. We literally dug in immediately! ????
Jersey-Sized Cravings Conquered at Baldinos, Doraville
If you're craving a hot sub that punches above its weight (and price tag), head straight to Baldinos in Doraville. My wife and I split the #11 Pepper Steak, and let me tell you, it was a flavor fiesta that left us both wanting more (but comfortably full, mind you).
The star of the show was the shaved marinated steak. Tender, juicy, and bursting with savory goodness, it practically begged for each bite. The grilled bell peppers and onions added a welcome sweetness and crunch, and the cheese brought it all together with a creamy, melty touch.
Now, we like things spicy, so we went rogue and added some of their hot pepper selection. Bam! Instant flavor upgrade. The tangy heat danced with the other ingredients, creating a symphony of taste buds on the tongue. A final drizzle of mayo (because, mayo) smoothed things out beautifully.
The portions here are no joke. One half of that monster sub was more than enough for each of us, and even then, we still had a couple of bites left to fight over (lovingly, of course). The bread held up surprisingly well, staying sturdy but not cardboard-y, even under the avalanche of fillings.
The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, perfect for a quick lunch or a laid-back dinner. The service was friendly and efficient, and the prices? Unbelievably affordable for the quality and quantity you get.
Final verdict: 5 out of 5 stars, no question. Baldinos in Doraville is a sub haven for anyone seeking Jersey-sized flavor without the Jersey-sized price tag. Do yourself a favor and grab a #11 (or any other tempting concoction) – your taste buds will thank you.

I got the Pepper Steak sub. The bread was stale and the end hard. There was good flavor to the steak but wasn't much steak in it. I mostly tasted the peppers and onions. A lot of the tables were dirty. It wasn't busy so not sure why nobody could clean them. Maybe my experience is not the norm, according to other reviews, but I won't be back.
I order from on a Saturday on 01/13/24 my way to work 2 of their Saturday half sub specials with mayo, sweet peppers and cheese for pick up. Once I got settled in to work to eat I noticed my cheese steak had no cheese. I called the location spoke with the night manager who said his name is Phil. Phil told me he was sorry about the mistake and well write my name down to replace my order on my next visit. Well I walked in today 02/22/24 to receive my replacement order. The person who took my order check the board couldn't find my name but said Phil is here. He find Phil and tell him the situation that's at hand. While talking to Phil the other two managers in so many words said they won't replace my order that was mess up their establishment. I was told we don't replace orders the best the would do is give me $2 for the mistake and that's all. The other male manager told me I can take that and leave or he will call the POLICE on me. Being the fact that neither one of us was yelling at each nor causing scenes in front of the other customers in the restaurant at the time. To threatened a customer who was unsatisfied with their order with have the COPS called on them is bizarre. They have very poor customer service and customer resolving skills.
