Not too crowded, good scenery, you can see overview of coastline from Newport Beach to Corona Del Mar, there is public restrooms and parking nearby, there is also Ruby's restaurant on the pier. Walking across you can also enjoy Newport Beach historic Catalina cruise terminal with boutique shops, restaurants and arcades room, from there you can also take ferry to Balboa island
If fun pier with beautiful views. Super cool large storks, and people fishing.
Loved walking through better on a Monday afternoon, beautiful view from the street awesome things to witness and snap a photo too!
Amazing spot. Well worth the drive past the tourist pier. Take the time to walk around and over to the Balboa Ferry. Close to the Ferris Wheel.
Pier is nice! There are benches to enjoy the view and it's fun to watch the guys fishing, also there's Ruby's Diner to eat delicious ???? burgers
We are a family of seven. We had a wonderful day at this location next to this pier. We will definitely come back to this location lots to do and tons of shops.
What can I say about Balboa Pier? I just love it! There’s still a Ruby’s there (is it the last one?) which is nice. It’s great for fishing and people watching! This time we saw a sea lion! It was a great day!
So nice to stroll down the pier and enjoy the ocean breeze
