I am very tex-mex person rather than authentic Mexican style tacos but this place is kinda a miss. Great vibes for a group hang out spot I guess, i saw it getting really busy and popular but the the tacos are not the best ones. Absolutely not a stop for real Hispanic folks. You will not be happy with the foods.
Busy Saturday evening. We were seated immediately. Friendly waitress that explained the menu. The food came out quickly and was very tasty. Great Mexican flavors. The guacamole was super good. Very happy with our experience.
I enjoy coming here often for happy hour. The happy hour special makes it worth it. For food, I like getting the trio (two different types of salsa & guacamole) with an order of queso. The appetizer food tastes good enough. I think the tacos could be better though. The margaritas are good enough too. The service is always terrific. I probably wouldn’t come here if I didn’t live up the street. It’s good, but it’s nothing special.

Been here several times and it just always hits the spot. The best margaritas in town! The food is always delicious. The service here is incredible. Terry is the most personable and conscientious server ever. He was making sure we were taken care of incredibly quickly and he made some very excellent recommendations. Will definitely come back!!
Late Saturday night stop for dinner was a home run - pineapple margaritas with tajin on the rim and the short rib taco was fantastic! Our waiter Terry was awesome - gave great menu recommendations, checked on us often and made our dinner with his friendly personality. My sister and I were in town for the Hell's City Tattoo Convention and my tattoo artist told me to try Bakersfield. Will definitely eat here the next time we are in Columbus. We reserved our table online.

The opportunities:
Everyone in the group ordered their individual tacos and sides to share. The sides arrived about 10 minute before the tacos, and we didn’t have silverware. We eventually went and asked someone for silverware. Around that same times, our tacos were delivered, and the food runner brought us silverware. My husband enjoyed the pork tacos (can’t recall the name, but the both veggie options were flavorless and really just not good at all. By this time, the sides were cold and the cauliflower wasn’t cooked thoroughly. Dinner was a bust.
We will not be back.
I tried again a couple weeks later, and nothing has changed. It's not difficult to add options for sides and to remove items. You can add the option to the item so that notes aren't even necessary. Please do this because I really enjoy your food but I don't want the cilantro and onions and I need guac and salsa. No salsa option is criminal when serving tacos. I will update the stars once it's fixed.
This used to be one of my favorite spots. I haven't been in a while but decided to order delivery. The packaging was great but they ignored my request to leave off a couple ingredients which ruined the tacos for me as it's very difficult to pick them out. If you can't see notes in uber eats then please at least update your system to be able to take ingredients off. The ability to add a small side of salsa (or simply include some) as well as small guac would be nice.
