The absolute best to ever do it!!! I drive at least an hour just to do my hair at Baked Beauty Bar because I know I am always in the BEST hands here & that’s coming from someone who is very picky!
Went to the Baked beauty bar for the first time. Had my hair washed by A great hairdresser who was fantastic! I am usually quite nervous and particular about who touches my hair as I have had bad experiences in the past with other salons. She was very friendly, professional and made me feel refreshed. Total 5 star treatment from the moment you walk in, was so looked after and felt very pampered and safe in the hands of the amazing Irene ,the owner of the shop. She’s the absolute BEST hands down in the local area.
Took my daughter here for a deep conditioning treatment and help with her hair. She has very thick curly hair that I have a very hard time with. She had a huge knot right at her scalp that I just could not get out. The girls here we're amazing , Heather took her time with my daughter and her hair came out amazing. She even put some beautiful braids in her hair with pretty red clips. This was my non pay week so i was tight on cash and they worked out a price that i could afford and that i am grateful for. The atmosphere at the salon was very pleasant. It was clean , everyone that worked there was so nice and accommodating ! I will definitely return and recommend this salon .
I always go here for a color, cut, and style. I had my wedding make up and hair done here as did my husband. Irene took great care of us and has a clean beautiful shop. The prices are great and fair as well. I live in Vernon CT and I drive there just because the service is worth it.
I went to Baked Beauty Bar to get my hair cut and blow dried for event. At first I was nervous because I had not been there before and my hair is very very thick, but Irene, the owner of the salon took those fears away. she took such good care of my hair and it was a success at my event, Customer service was great and the establishment was great, Thank you Irene!!!
Great experience all around. I felt very comfortable and in good hands. Samantha is a perfectionist which I appreciate. She is very thorough and professional. All the ladies at the salon seem to have a great time together. I'd recommend to anyone!
i think irene and the girls are so sweet and the shop is nice and clean, but besides that it'd have to be a no go. i went twice, once for a weave and once for a dye job. the weave (between hair purchasing and installment) cost $400, was dyed a completely off color (i wanted ginger, it was bright orange), and caused clumps of my hair to fall out. the dye job seemed alright at first, but when i left the shop the color wasn't my natural color. i should've went back and asked for it to be dyed correctly. i pretty much had to buzz my head both times to salvage my hair.
if you have looser hair, go for it. but for kinky or coily natural hair, i wouldn't recommend going here. i really wanted to like this place. again, sweet girls who know what they're doing in some cases but not really with all hair types.
Booked an appointment for 10 am and no one showed. The stylist got the appointment dates confused. Mistakes happen and I get that. But this was my first time here and it just does not leave a good first impression. It was my only morning off and available time before a trip and booked a week or a little less in advance. Now I will be going on my trip without my hair cut and blow dried like I had hoped.
