3/19 stopped at Ace hardware! Feeling super hungry stopped at Baja Taco's ordered taco's & Fry's. No bueno ground beef was dried out with no flavor. Fry's came out super hot had a couple off the top on my way to work. Tasted like there fried in the same oil as toqitos, taco shells. Got to work gave em to a coworker she opened the bag of Fry's wrapped in paper fold she noticed piece of glass yes little shards of glass..
I never noticed OMG never just stick your hand in a bag and start eating. To include I haven't felt good all day my head hurts, I've been off balance my stomach has been upset I've had aching stomach pains..
Yes Ive called the restaurant. We also captured pictures.. I only went through the drive up.. I'm so disappointed shocked and really how could this happen?
The food is well prepared and tastes great. The menu items are very affordable. The staff are kind and keep the establishment 9clean. The dining area is spacious and pleasant. The only negative thing I can say about Baja Tacos is there condiments are in little packets. I minor inconvenience.
The campground host at Santa Fe Skies RV Park recommended this place for breakfast burritos. In her words, Baja Tacos does sauces that won't burn your face off but will let you know exactly what Santa Fe residents like about red and green sauce. It was true. Yummy hearty burritos with tasty sauces that didn't give us heart burn! It was a good morning start to the day.
I was just driving through Santa Fe and looking for a spot to stop and have a bite of lunch. I saw Baja tacos and decided to give it a try.
I'm glad that I stopped. It was very good, and the atmosphere was nice. It felt like a mom and pop shop, which I like. Not everybody does, but if you want a small restaurant with a family feel, this one certainly fits the bill.
I tried fish tacos beef tacos chicken tacos and shrimp tacos. They were delicious. Take a look at the photos.
I thought it was priced fairly for what we received. It wasn't outrageous, and it wasn't cheap. And the food was just what I wanted. No complaints on price or quality.
If you're looking for a mom and pop type Taqueria, this could be the place. Give it a try.
Outstanding tacos and burritos ! I think Santa Fe's best even though it is cheap and fast.
Food is abundant and delicious! Don't hesitate to order. I have ordered repeatedly and have never been disappointed.
I specifically requested lettuce and tomato on the side. They packed my quesadilla full of onion and tomato. The receipt is correct, still messed it up. Otherwise, one of my favorite places, but this ruined my lunch and I don't have time to go back and ask them to make it again. Service is always polite and professional, but this is just really disappointing because I'm always looking forward to food from here, but hate onion, and this is literally the opposite of what I wanted.
Actual Review: This is ideally a spot to drop into for a quick lunch before going back to work. It's an old Wendy's, there's nothing pleasant about the interior; not a good date spot. However, it's perfectly fine at take-out and drive-thru. Take your food and enjoy somewhere comfortable, it will be good food at an affordable price. Don't bother with the hamburger, the meat is not meant for that, it's a very poor burger. But frito pie, quesadilla, taco, etc., all great and filling portions. Service is always polite and professional. It's just not a "nice restaurant," it's a quick stop for lunch on the move. Avoid needing their restrooms and dining area. This business makes more sense as a permanent food truck, not a restaurant, if that makes sense.
Really good, we order here frequently, about once a week. Relatively consistent with good quesadillas, frito pie, and old school crunchy tacos. That said, for breakfast burritos? About 15% of the time they have either no hashbrowns OR no meat - strange.
