Food was great. House salad in the picture, it was delicious. I got the chicken cilantro crema dinner.
However, I did have to ask for lemon for my water 3 separate times... And had to ask for my side salad before my entree came. Not sure if it didn't get entered or what, but I had just finished it when the entree arrived so that worked out. My friends' entree was never put in so she had to watch all of us eating while she waited for hers, they should've discounted her meal imo... Other than that the service was good.
Will still come back. Hopefully next time will have no issues.
Absolutely love this place! Giving me tropical vibes before my Caribbean vacay. Usually restaurants advertise the Caribbean ambiance, food, and drink then fall short. Not the case here! All excellent! Service was great. Can't wait to go back!
Let me start by saying that meal is excellent. My four-person group began with the yuca cheese sticks and the beef empanadas. It was quite remarkable. After this, we had cocktails. I had a fantastic pineapple coconut margarita. for starters.. I also had the jerk chicken pineapple bowl, which was excellent, but there was a significant serving flaw, in my opinion. Although the service could have been better, they made an effort. Birthdays are not celebrated there, and we weren't really checked on all that often.
This is a lovely place to eat with great food and amazing staff. They were very patient dealing with my stupid debit card that would not work. But I really REALLY need to thank them for putting my soup in a double container (don't worry! I recycle!). On the way home, I had to stop suddenly when a Darwin Award nominee on a motorcycle cut me off and my food bag went flying. I was sure my soup was done for and I'd be cleaning up seafood soup leftovers from my car floor but imagine my surprise when I looked in the bag and everything was intact and ready to eat, wrapped up all nicely in double plastic. So, thanks everyone! They don't pay you enough.
First time here, I enjoyed the aesthetic. We were seated in the back where live entertainment would be as well as a good view to look out at.
The drinks were not crazy expensive, but what we had was very very delicious. The service was polite, not crowding and informative. The food takes a bit, but the appetizers make up for that.
I chose the Jerk chicken salad which was full of flavour, not spicy, and not salty. You can get fresh grated parm on top.
I recommend stopping by for a nice bite and for drinks that can cool you off or keep you warm.

Kids meal sliders were cute, and we were happy there was no age restriction on ordering it. Service and atmosphere is always great here! Definitely a beautiful island getaway in troy????❤️ … jerk chicken wings are forever the best thing on the menu… sad they changed the recipe a few years ago… used to be COVERED with a beautiful crust of crunchy spices ????????
I wish we sat near the fire outside because we were both a bit warm inside to be honest. Nothing truly bad to say at all! Even the coffee at the end was fresh and good❤️
This was our first visit to Bahama Breeze and we came for lunch. We found the atmosphere refreshing and friendly. The service was great. Our waitress was informative of the menu and able to recommend and discuss the different dishes.
The food we ordered was delicious, and somehow felt slightly less corporate than most chain restaurants these days. So that was pleasant.
The restaurant felt clean and well kept.
I was disappointed when visiting the men's restroom. Hence, 4, rather than 5 stars. The men's restroom was flooded and felt neglected. Had to pull the heels of my jeans up to avoid getting wet. My wife said the women's restroom felt clean, but she did note the floor felt sticky.
We would definitely visit again and would recommend it to anyone else. The restroom issue could have been just a current issue they were working through. Otherwise, it was a great visit.
I had lunch at the Big Beaver location. The restaurant theme was awesome. Very beautiful atmosphere and the restaurant was spotless. The red snapper I ordered was the best I ever had. The fish was cooked perfectly, the presentation and the flavors were amazing. The fish was very fresh and flavorful. The staff came by the table every ten minutes to see if I needed anything. I can't remember the last time I had service that good. The staff was very friendly and professional. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. It really was a great experience!!! Great job !!!
