I’m from Minnesota and these are THE BEST bagels I’ve ever had!! I ordered a dozen to bring home and the owner was so overly nice and gave me over two dozen bagels!! Definitely a must go if you’re in the area!❤️
Fresh large bagels at this little shop. Perhaps not as chewy as the best NYC has to offer, but close. Great selection of cream cheese spreads and other sweet and savory breakfast items. There are a few tables and bar areas to sit. Super fast, friendly service, reasonably priced.
Crowded local bagel and deli. First time there. Quick service and friendly staff. Lox sandwich. Bagels were fair. Took the third time before I got one they weren’t out of. Maybe that was problem. Sesame wasn’t first choice. I’ll definitely go back and try again. Judging from crowd, they do plenty right.
Always looking for a good bagels being from New York. My daughter lives in CT. Now we live in PA and can't get decent bagels and everybody uses Duncan donuts. Sent my wife in to get a dozen to take back home and get 2 of the bagels buttered to go with a cup of coffee. The lady said she couldn't do that it was to confusing. A dozen bagels would of cost $16.00. Plus we where charged an extra $9.20 for a coffee and the 2 bagels. Doesn't anyone have some business sense anymore????
I have always loved Bagel Delight, every busy morning spent in line for an egg and cheese is always worth it, I always make a point to stop by when I'm back to visit in Connecticut. I stopped by today around 4pm to grab a few bagels to bring back to Philly, Eunice filled an entire bag for me when I shared how much I love this spot. Eunice is the epitome of kindness. Please support this business- we need more people in this world like her to spread joy in the smallest of places.
Love the bagel. They are fresh and very personal touch with with butter or many different type of cream cheeses.
One the best in newtown ,bethel and Danbury area. Absolutely delighted with morning breakfast
Food is delicious, very expensive. We are concerned about others posting about the price inconsistency so we’ll share our costs this morning for others to compare:
Bacon egg and cheese on bagel- $6.24
Bagel and cream cheese $4.50
Orange juice-$3.64
We do always enjoy the bagels, wait can be long.
Needed some breakfast/lunch passing through CT on I-84 and found this place easy off/on the highway. My first time there plus had my wife and 3 kids.
What a great family run business. The owner Eunice is on the register and is the sweetest person. Her son Tim is taking orders, helping make food, and was super friendly making you feel like family.
Service is relatively quick, but as a customer one must understand that good quality and fresh product may take a little extra time. There was a decent line when we came in so you know it must be good stuff here.
The bagels are large and quite soft inside. Fresh whipped cream cheese with a variety of flavors. Sandwiches were outstanding! Definitely coming back when passing through the area again.
