Visited on a weekday during lunch hours. Not super busy.
I ordered the Egg, Sausage, and Cheese on a Jalapeno Cheddar bagel. Costed a little over $7.
The sausage patty was small, but the sandwich had a lot of egg in it. The cheese melted nicely, which helped combine all the ingredients together. The bagel was also toasted, so it was both fluffy and slightly crispy.
The atmosphere is so-so. The bathroom has seen better days. They could do a better job of cleaning the tables after customers leave as well. The furniture they use in the cafe looks like something you would find at your grandma's house (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).
For the price, I'd say it was pretty good.
But generally speaking, the sandwich was just okay.
Would I come again if I was craving an affordable bagel sandwich?
Sure.
Will I come back often?

First time here and happy we stopped. The owner/cashier was super nice and gave us a free sticky croissant. The croissants were super flaky and bagel was delicious. We will be back!
Food is excellent! I love the egg salad sandwich, the eggwiches, and the bagels are amazing. There are some refrigerators with tons of canned/bottled drink options, chips, bagel dogs, fruit cups, etc. Service is great; the owner is very friendly and personable with some of the regulars, I see him chatting people up regularly. The atmosphere is perfect, the tables and chairs look to be second-hand wood dining sets, and there are some palm plants that add a nice touch with the floor to ceiling windows. There is a constant hum from the refrigerators, and some happy Buddha statues by the pick up window. This is my favorite place to come eat breakfast!
I come in here quite often and never have any problems except maybe missing something I requested which usually is a quick fix. But today my service was HORRIBLE. Food was great per usual but the service was horrible. I received an attitude from everyone I came in contact with which is super unfortunate because I actually like this place.
Doesnt matter what you order, everything is good. Food is always made fresh to order and is so delicious. Great bagel variety and menu selections. Amazingly friendly service each and every time I visit. Certainly one of my most favorite eateries in Rancho Cordova. I love it here.
The best place to get Bagels of any kind. They offer hot dogs encased in a bagel of a variety of flavors which seem to be a favorite for those on the run. I, myself buy 2 dozen bagels (blueberry, my favorite) at a time to freeze. One bagel wrapped in a paper towel for one minute in the microwave makes then just right fluffy and soft-n-chewy for my long morning drive out to the East Bay Area.
Best of all, the staff / owners are ever so kind and friendly! It must be a joy to work there as it is such a relaxing place to kick back enjoying your short stay whether for a meal, a coffee or just a bagel. A great tasting bagel at that! What are you waiting for?

Love this place, always top notch. Can’t ask for more. I drive across town for work and have the choice of Noah’s bagels in Roseville or this place at the end of my commute. It’s no contest, this place cares about their customers and delivers a great product and service. I will always choose Bagel Cafe over Noah’s. Just wish it was closer for my weekend bagels.
