First time eating at the Backwoods Eatery. It was very good! Babyback ribs were tasty. Unique homemade bbq sauce. The baked beans had pulled pork in them. That was a nice surprise! Coleslaw and corn bread was good too! Welcome to Jay!
Second visit today! November 23, 2021. We tried the 3 meat sampler platter. Pulled pork, brisket and St. Louis ribs. Everything was excellent! Enough food for two people! You’re doing great Tom!!
Everything was great! But the bacon Mac n cheese with the home made cheese sauce…. Amazing! Also the beans with pulled pork in them, almost drove back just to get seconds! I definitely should have ordered an extra side of those bad boys.. To top it all off, that CORN bread… dear lawd have mercy on my soul! See y’all again soon.. (p.s y’all should have warned me that pork loin was gonna be wrapped in bacon, lord almighty …)
Took my wife on a date to try the food and I must say it was delicious. I had the pulled pork platter with beans, coleslaw and cornbread. She had the sausage sub with fries. Both were delicious. Definitely going again. If you haven't checked it out I definitely recommend it. Best BBQ I've had. Hands down.
First time not my last I make a good pot of beans but yours are as good if not a little better the brisket and ribs perfect corn bread thumbs up Burnt Ends in Auburn connot come close to

We stopped by at the end of their day. Pulling in, the two guys running the shack were very friendly and brought our food out to us. The food was delicious and quite hot even though we arrived 30m before closing. The portions were also good for the price and the taste was spectacular. It's definitely the best BBQ for miles.
Our only complaints were the bugs since seating is outside and road. I'd suggest putting up some bug zappers and maybe a fence. At least where the seating area is.
We'll definitely be back.
Owner is super nice. Great service when we go. The pulled pork and chicken are excellent. The ribs were delicious. The Mac n cheese was too salty. The cole slaw tasted like saurkraut. Corn bread is too die for.
A delicious rib & BBQ place! Great smokey flavor, with a tangy BBQ sauce. And the price is fair!
My husband and I stopped there tonight on our way home, we got the chicken and brisket baskets, I just want to let you guys know that your food is amazing and so tender and flavorful, I never like coleslaw other than KFC’s but your coleslaw is very good. We will definitely be back again! Thank you
