Sasquatch Alert‼️What a great place to visit. Nestled away in the nook of nowhere, you'll enjoy sitting on the overlook deck watching Hopewell creek babble by. Inside you'll be amazingly delighted trying to take in all the decor and carvings. With a game room in back and live music to enjoy your meal by, this is the quintessential small town watering hole. An absolute must on your bucket list.
The owners are awesome it's a very family-oriented place the scenery is beautiful and there is a really cool vintage toy shop. And they have awesome bands that play music
As good as everyone said. A bit off the beaten track, but nice place! Philly Cheesesteak was big and tasty. Cod and shrimp platter excellent! Nice corn meal batter really made the cod taste great. Good fries and nice crispy onion rings. The have music on the weekend and have a feeling that this place rocks! If you are in the area stop by; you will not regret it!
Good breakfast. Cooked just right. Good service. A nice place in a nice setting. We will go back. We look forward to trying their other meals. Breakfast is available on Friday and Saturday.

Home cooking, super friendly staff, newly built, looks great Les and Tonya the owners work hard for to make sure everyone has a great time and you can bring the kids.
Stopped here for a late lunch on the way back to STL from Johnson Shut-ins park. The burgers were great, the staff nice, and the atmosphere inviting.
One of the coolest place nested in the valley of Hopewell Missouri.Backwoods is next to a natural spring that runs all year. The place is loaded with cool wood work and amazing food and cold drinks and hand dipped ice cream. They have live music Thursday Friday and Saturday nights very kid friendly.
