Was our first time here. We always go to one place in town but something swung us this way. At first though it was a house, but then we seen the advertising and all the cars and said ok let’s try!
Well my honest opinion. We first walked in was welcomed with a smile from the cook I believe, the waitress well. She needs to learn to smile more welcome different ppl. I seen her laugh and smile with a regular I believe but no matter how hard my husband tried she never smiled. Plus my coffee went dry twice. I’m a big coffee drinker. But all and all. Come one ppl come visit this beautiful little gem. Thank you!
The service is amazing. The food is cooked at home good. Breakfast is my favorite meal to go out for. So i have been many places. Sorry to the other breakfast diners in town but these fried potatoes are bringing me here every time. The atmosphere is just special too. Ya just gotta stop. Its old school and perfect.
due to supply issues they don't always have pork tenderloins. the last two times we called they didn't but this time they did so we tried both the breaded and grilled tenderloin. these are very good tenderloins. they're pounded thin but they use good pork and trim off the fat and gristle. they didn't overcook it so the pork was still moist. I prefer slightly less pounded pork so there's more pork than breading but this was excellent as traditional tenderloins go. they need to find a new bun as those disintegrated. onion rings are nice big slices but very greasy. french fries were crispy but greasy as well. unfortunately they're using styrofoam when there are compostable options available. definitely one of frankfurt's better tenderloins.
I just had a wonderful breakfast here with my friend. This was the first time I had ever been here. When we drove up, we had inhibitions about the place because it looked like a house. We decided to go in because there were so many customers there already. I had the bacon breakfast special. My friend had the cheese omelette. It was so delicious, and very hot. I was shocked how cheap it was. I paid about 7.00 for mine.
Small town experience with excellent staff and good food. Fast from order to table and one of those really enjoyable experiences where everyone knows everyone and loves guests. Loved it. Prices are right and portions are fairly large.
Truly the biggest hidden Gem in Gem City! Thank you ladies because of you my last 3 years living here in Frankfort has been truly blessed with the quality and service from your establishment.
I love this hidden gem!!! My gf and I have become regulars here. The price is right for a great breakfast. Fast service. Oh yes and the most important thing. My coffee cup never goes dry.
We would have stayed if the welcome had been warmer. One of the waitresses glared at us (we were first time walk in customers) and didn’t say hi or welcome. When I asked if we seat ourselves, she looked as if it was a dumb question. We still wanted to give it a try and sat down only to endure a loud yell-across-the-room conversation between her and the “regulars.” Food smelled good but I wouldn’t recommend for those sensitive to LOUD. After we couldn’t have an audible conversation at our own table, we left.
