Older man in the bar was very unpleasant to us all. Sure put us in a what the heck mood. Food smells great. However, brisket sandwich & tacos had hardly any meat. Very disappointed. Homemade chips are good but salty. Would suggest eat something before you come. Atmosphere is nice for drinks.

They closed >30 minutes early. Refused to make our food and offered us an old chicken sandwich. We drove 20 minutes out of the way to get beer and food.

Food was so good! We shared the dry rubbed wings, smashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. Roasted vegetables stole the show! Atmosphere is very cool! Get food, grab a beer from inside and go out back to sit around a fire pit!

I don’t know why it took me so long to try Backside Grill. I thought maybe it was just a closet kitchen to serve drunk people food. Heck no, this place is legit! There’s not a ton of food options in oldham county so it’s nice to have another place to grab dinner for the family. Order online and pickup on your way home from work. Smoked wings are amazing, the new pizza is excellent, and my wife loves the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. Kudos to the employees for working outside in the cold weather, but you are cranking out some delicious meals in winter coats.

Went here with high expectations. Really disappointed. The smoked chicken wings were fried to a crisp and really dry. The mac and cheese was gloopy and kind of sweet. The tacos were sad. Chicken taco was sad and unappetizing. The veggie taco was sopping wet and too sweet. Very overpriced (3/$15) when the fillings are so cheap and plain and it's made with flour tortillas. The brussel sprouts were crispy, but way too salty. Kind of frustrating that we showed up at 4 PM and the schnitzel was already sold out and we were told the philly cheese that was advertised right by the order window was only available at some other back grill. Then we wander to the back and see a random nacho bar? This place is too unnecessarily confusing. The food, especially the tacos, needs some work.

Best Brussel sprouts I’ve ever had. Fish was tasty and wings we’re big and good. Maybe a little pricey but it is good quality and portions aren’t bad. I will definitely be back soon.

First time there, busy time, they messed up the order but made it good got a tour of the whole place, got my first taste of Meade! Great food, their churro donuts are addicting!!! We will definitely be back very fine people!

Food has gotten blah since the change of the new menu. Have tried every item and they are ok. The atmosphere is what keeps us coming back. Be prepared to wait for drinks at 3rd turn on a nice day though as they do not open up the outside bars until april.
