Serendipitously found this place after looking for parking. A group of gentlemen were playing guitar when we came in. It was a nice atmosphere. Ordered the Tuscan turkey wrap and ham and cheese. Both were delish and the service was great.
Literally the back porch of an antique store. I give this spot an extra star for their vegan options.

But they have more than just vegan food, there is there are salads, sandwiches, wraps and even some dessert options. This spot gets busy at lunch and there are not enough tables to fit everyone, but give it time and you will find a spot either inside or on the outside (back porch) area. It is a dog friendly foot, so bring your pet with you, everyone else seems to have taken them up on it.
Service was so friendly, it was like a family gathering.
But you want to know about the food:
Potato salad - as good or better than my mother’s version and i loved hers.
Vegan Chili - full of potatoes, corn, tomatoes and black beans, this was my FAVORITE dish.
Mozzarella Wrap - it sounded good, but was just so-so and was horribly messy.
Side salad - fresh, good and the dressing was amazing.
Cuban Sandwich - another solid choice that was tasty and filling.
Reuben - ooh, surprisingly good.
Gyro - another really great dish, my son devoured this one.
Really good lunch spot, but it did take some time, both waiting in line and to get our food.
Very nice place for a quick lunch before antique shopping. I ordered the reuben panini on sourdough bread with a side of slaw. Both were delicious. My husband ordered the chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread with of slaw. It did not come toasted, but they will toast it for you if you request it. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Live music was played by a live band singing tunes.
Probably the best Gyro I’ve ever had… And the coleslaw as a side was sweet and amazing.
Back Porch Bistro and the fantastic people there made for a great lunch. My husband and I are vegan but we were accommodated with care. They have several options for vegetarians and are open to veganizing those items. We both settled on wraps but I’m not a fan of tortillas so the wonderful woman in the kitchen substituted a pita for me. My grilled veggie sandwich was delicious and my husband liked his burrito wrap too. The Cowboy Caviar was very good as well. We’re happy we tried this cute little respite and will definitely return when in the Ellijay area. The value of a restaurant is directly related to the people as well as the food and this place has both in spades. The gentleman taking orders was so very friendly and welcomIng that it truly made our day. Great place.
We came here for spring break and had our Labrador. They have a porch where you can bring your dog. They welcomed us with menus and had a bowl of water with a treat. We felt very welcomed. The food was delicious ???? Can't wait to come back!
The food was so fresh and good. We had a chicken salad sandwich with potato salad and the Grinder with cowboy caviar. All of it was amazing, and we enjoyed it on the deck with our puppy. Great place.
We went there this afternoon right before they closed. We had a very wonderful experience. The three of us got their chicken salad on gluten free bread and 2 of us got potato salad and one of us got slaw. All of it was very good. The service was AMAZING! This is a place I highly recommend. I personally can be very picky especially with chicken salad, potato salad and slaw lol ????. They let me try them before I got them bc I wasn’t sure if I was gonna like it, I very much did and we will certainly be going back!
