Since I've Found This Place I've Been Obsessed With Their Food! It's Such A Gem ! I'd Recommend The Edwin Edwards Broccoli and Swiss soup & The Untouchables Salad, But Literally Whatever You Choose To Get, Will Be Amazing ! The Owner & The Cook Are So Sweet And Welcoming !
Wonderful extensive and delicious menu with so many options! I can’t wait to come back to this adorable destination! The owners are so hospitable and the food is impeccable.
Lovely little spot to stop for a laidback lunch. We had the Little Orphan Annie, the Marilyn Monroe and a slice of lemon pie and it was all tasty! The owner was so friendly :)
The name of the place told me it might be a hidden gem, and my instinct was right! The food was incredible!!! I had the Jack Dempsey (roast beef and swiss) with a side of WWII (potato casserole)... it was like my grandmother had made it. This will be my new stop every time I am passing through the area!
The food is really good. The decor and atmosphere are unsurpassed in my book. Service? They knocked it out of the park a real jewel. I'll definitely return in the future and recommend Back In Time to friends an family alike. Thank y'all. And our first date will be that much more memorable.
The food was delicious. I had the Elvis Presley sandwich and my wife had the Frank Sinatra sandwich. The host is very charming and has some interesting stories to tell.
Go here if you have the eyes and taste buds of an 80 year old. The place is dusty and covered in cobwebs, not to mention the cockroach we saw running across the floor. The food was flavorless and despite them not being busy, they didn't know who ordered what. The bathroom was not just cluttered, the clutter was covered in a layer of dust, including the bleach bottles littering the floor. They obviously don't use them often.
Best salads in Opelousas and surrounding areas, with such friendly owners.
If you like olives in your salad, The Untouchables is well, untouchable!
If you like shrimp try the Tony Chachere on thier famous bread, you won't find that flavor anywhere else.
