This was a cool little spot to get some good BBQ. I enjoyed the rib plate , Texas Toast with the redneck ravioli and some sweet tea. Will return next year when I come back to Savannah.
This place was phenomenal! Food was so good! Service and atmosphere felt like home. Whoever is in the kitchen knows what’s up. We left so full and so happy. Truly an experience. :)
Just made it on time today to try out Babe’s BBQ. I had never been there so I went inside and asked for a to go order. The lovely lady at the cash register said I had to order to go at the window outside.
I went back outside to the window and was informed I had just made it and would be their last customer today due to a crazy lunch rush. I was also told they were out of Brisket. I ordered the Rib Plate and Sausage Plate as well as the Jalapeño Poppers, Red Neck Ravioli (Mac and cheese mixed with Brunswick Stew), Baked Beans and Collards.
Bottom line one of, if not the best, BBQ Places in the Savannah area. Absolutely delicious! Next time I am trying their sandwiches!
I'm a foodie. therefore, Im willing to try new restaurants all over Savannah. I haven't had a chance to try their food. The extra charge of $2 just to use your card was a complete turn-off. I'm not paying that along with a tip just to order a sandwich to go ????????.
Great brisket plate with Mac-n-cheese. Putting this place in my go to for lunch.
I got the two meat plate with 2 sides and I really enjoyed my meal. The brisket is definitely a must. The pork was similar to bacon so I might recommend going for a different meat if you are not into that. Service was great and portions are good!
Great as always, had been a while since I have been here but, same as usual great food with great service!
