Best WLM Reviews
When coming to the location, you see it sitting nearly in the center of a plaza. It’s well signed design to the windows and LED lights to guide you to the storefront where there is always someone waiting to greet you upon your entry. The menu is very simple for everyone to understand. The menu has been enlarged and placed on the left side of the wall. When you first come inside the facility there you can make your choices of many different delicious varieties. If you love, chicken, steak, fish, or just looking for something to snack on. Over here at Baba’s famous steak and lemonade, they definitely got it. Because not only just food they serve but also desserts for those who are in need to feed a sweet tooth mission. You figured out your order and are now placing it with one of Bubba‘s well trained cashier, given the proper tools to assess all customers of all types of personalities to their upmost capability. Now there’s also an option to pick a lemonade, icy with a choice of flavors to mix with. I recommend trying the mango strawberry with a hint of watermelon. Trust me, it is incredible!
Now the wait time for your order does not take long. It could be anywhere from 10 to 25 minutes depending on how large your order is and what exactly you order because certain items do take longer time to cook thoroughly so it’s understandable if it’s to take slightly a bit more , but just know you’re gonna get the quality every time. I order fish, boneless chicken hot, jerk chicken/steak nachos with fries and chips together. I’ll have it posted with this review. You gotta try that as well !!
So with all this great measure of customer, service and food quality, all within a decent time. You gotta give thanks to the MANAGEMENT. The lady that runs this place for the owner is next level amazing and will make sure that you are well taken care of each person with the same energy no different from the other she shows many times of going out her way And displays loving what she does as she does it for those around the community they come to acquire the great tasting food with a welcoming every time at Babas’s famous steak and lemonade.
Big shout out to “Audrey” for keeping the place together and everyone there!
There "No Refunds" policy is bad.
Ordered a Gyro Plate for the wife but found out later down the road that there was no Feta cheese. I had to drive back to get that information instead of being told ahead of time that they didn't have that. Then order was not fully completed. They mess up the order and they won't remake or refund your money. Won't be going back again
A large chicken tender is 9.99 and you only get 5 medium-sized to small chicken tenders. If you go to any Shark's or Baba's they give you 2 sauces per dinner. Not them...... Go to Baba's in Calumet City they'll give you a 7 to ten piece Chicken tender for 11.99 and you can get all the sauce you need at no extra charge. And the food tastes better.
I will not be back ever!
I spent $30 for 3 meals. Meat sliced as thin as a lays plain potato chip. I would have spent less buying it already cooked & frozen. I'm totally disappointed & want my money back or replacements????????
I ordered a 10 piece boneless plain wings with a side of ranch. I also ordered cheesy fries. The wings came with fries, which I probably missed on the menu or I wouldn't of ordered so much. But the fries had no salt and were soggy. The wings, no flavor whatsoever and the breading was tough. Just plain nasty. Then I found a piece of black burnt plastic mixed in my wings. Never again will I go there. They also had forgot my ranch, lucky I had some at home.
I am not sure if I would come back to this spot again. How to keep a restaurant mostly open but discouraging diners is difficult which is why they seem to have failed miserably. Not inviting, not clean looking and the place is generally disorganized.
The attitude in there says do not return. I was trying to place an order. Nope the employees turn up for ringing the already broke bell. You right, no need to spend my money here. Nobody else for that matter. You're a food place, you will be dealing with customers. Cursing them out is not the way to run a business for your process. I shouldn't be ringing a bell when you already notice me in there in the first place, then walked away. Rude!!!!
I wish I can give more detail but every time I call their phone is busy. It stays busy so I order somewhere else.
