It's very bad practice in my opinion to lie to a customer. And that is exactly what they did.
I took my car in to get the battery and alternator checked. They told me it's just a dead battery. I replaced it and the same problem still persisted. When I called them back she told me they couldn't know if it was the alternator because the battery was dead. Which I feel like I should've been told before. So I asked if I can bring it back in to test the alternator for sure and was told to bring it back the next morning.
When she called me back to ask about what I wanted done the story changed. She asked if I wanted the battery changed, already did that. And said they checked the alternator and I can come pick it up. I find out they never took my vehicle in the shop to test it the second time. So now I have no idea which time she was lying and if the alternator is actually bad. She told me I could bring it in the second time and not charge me more for the service since they couldn't test it the first time. And that also changed when I brought it in the second time. Then she became dismissive and argumentative.
I am sure the mechanics know what they are doing. The customer service was below any kind of standard and I feel pretty taken advantage of.
Side note, she told me my car was out back, implying they moved it. When I walked back in the office she told me they never moved it and didn't do any service. And that's when I got the different story.
I was just looking for help and feel like I was taken advantage of. And writing a review is about the only power I have in this situation.
I never write reviews this actually might be my first Google review. I cannot say enough good things about B & M! The staff was super helpful, explained everything, helped with rental, and got me in for an appointment ASAP. It was so easy from A to B ! Then the actual work was freaking amazing looks just like the day a bought it actually better. They even detailed my truck inside and out. I will never go anywhere else for body shop needs. I cannot recommend this place more!!
I had my car in for state inspection, oil change and lube and also for an electrical problem. The lites on my dashboard would go off and on and sometimes never came on. Here it was not an electrical problem, I had my car detailed a couple of weeks before this had happened. When they detailed it they pressed a knob on the dashboard it that was the problem. They did not charge me anything, if I would have taken it to some place else they could have raked me over the coals. I have
been taking my cars for years once the dealership warranty was over. Never had a problem with any of their work.
My fiancé and I have a beautiful new Honda that needed help with a few scratches and marks on the paint. B & M made time to see us and corrected our problem the same day. Andrea and her coworkers are amazing. You know a shop is good when it is recommended by other garages that you trust. Now we trust B & M Automotive Services and we will use them for all of our service needs.
RED FLAG #1 they told me one price then it DOUBLED when I talked to the lady. I Took my car here about 4 mths ago. Paid over 1000 dollars and got a front end alignment with some other parts. Well, now a few mths later my tire wore completely out where the wires were showing. (Brand new tire I gave them to put on when they did the alignment) also had some play in my steering wheel. When I got a new tire put on they said the brake hub was loose and the lug nuts were loose also. I made it very clear that my husband has cancer and I needed my car to get him back n forth EVERYDAY for radiation. And that's how they gave my car back. They had it for FOUR WEEKS!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
absolutely never going here again. forced me to WALK my change of tires a half mile from my house to their shop instead of giving me my car to make the trip and lied about their prices when i asked over the phone. i recommend finding literally any other mechanic
I was having major headaches with my vehicle. Electrical issues, the whole nine. Took my truck to them. In an afternoon, they troubleshoot all my issues, and the truck is running like a brand new machine. I will definitely bring back my vehicles to them in the future. Fair price for excellent work. And he explained everything they did. Fully transparent.
Highly recommend B&M Automotive. They always do a great job on my vehicles.
