B & J machine shop were amazing. I had a crank, block, and head out of an 89 civic with over 300,000 miles that I needed work on. They were the only shop that would do it and they did an outstanding job. Awesome customer service as well!
Dishonest. Gave me all their trash and half of my head parts back. Save the headache and take your work elsewhere. Paid these guys $600 dollars cash(of course their card machine was down) to fix and repair a head. I paid for all parts had them shipped to them directly to have installed. Well no wonder we get back to the shop and 5 of my injector tube hold downs nuts are magically not in their trash box , they stuck in the back of my truck . Owner claims they were never on the head but yet there was 1 of them in a box they gave us back. 0 stars you guys suck.
Excellent service and a very knowledgeable staff that will keep consistent communication with you the entire way!! Very fair price!! Highly recommended!!
Needed to get crank, rods, and pistons balanced. "By the end of next week" turned into a week after that. I live 2 hours away and was hard to find a time to come by after work when they close at noon on Fridays.
The gentleman that answers the phone is not the person that does the balancing, and any question I had was a literal game of telephone that was poorly translated through both ends. I could hear the person that does the work over the phone but he never took the calls to make the process easier.
Picked up my parts but forgot to get the rod bearings, a mistake we both equally share blame for. There was little effort done on their end to get them back in a timely manner or get me tracking information, they were annoyed with those questions.
Will see how the balancing job is once I get the engine installed, the owner sounded like he takes pride in getting the entire assembly balanced within 5 grams.
Honestly the environment is awesome the staff is amazing great communication and overall great work will be back

Best machine shop in this area Jeff is a honest professional business owner and he knows his business like the back of his hand I love this place. I wont use any other machine shop around especially Jordan's performance in newton Jordan's ruined two brodin cylinder heads and charged me out the a__. Do not ever use Jordan's performance in newton unless you like throwing money away. And Jordan's performance refused to fix what he messed up and still charged me hundreds of dollars
