This place is a childhood personal favorite. I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was little ♥️. Me and mom jumped in the car and visited for lunch today with the kiddo. Small changes have occurred over the years but it is pretty much still the same. Delicious food, fabulous sweet tea ????, and good memories! I absolutely recommend the biscuits, the tea, and the banana pudding!!
I loved it! The peach cobbler is the best!! The catfish stew is just the way I like it, sweet and little spicy. All the food is delicious. How about the strawberry crunch cake ????!!!?
Good southern buffet with the staples (they stick to what they are good at). The service is decent, but the cashier seemed preoccupied and ran the transaction without acknowledgment. The atmosphere is simple and all flatware and plates are plastic and Styrofoam, giving you the feeling of eating at a fast food restaurant and not a casual dining establishment. Sadly, I believe they've outpriced their product and I likely won't return.
This past Sunday a week ago. I called to see about catering. I was told to call back Tuesday at 11:00, but I called after noon. I was asked to hold and then I was hung up on. So I called back at 3:00 that afternoon and I told the young girl that I wanted to see about prices, so she took my name and number. So I never received an call back from the manager.So I called on Thursday and talked to the manager and she told me that she's cut off taking orders. This is poor customer service from the manager of this restaurant! I was treated like like she could care less where she got my business or not! Very disappointing!
I absolutely love this place! The people are super nice & the price was not bad at all! Spent $45.00 for my husband and two little boys! 6 & 3???? HIGHLY RECOMMEND ????????
It's a bit overpriced at $15 a person but The food is okay except for the spaghetti. I don't know who puts ketchup in spaghetti I mean that just doesn't seem right when marinara sauce exists and is way better. In conclusion it's not a terrible place to eat but in my opinion it's just not worth $15.
My sister placed an order for 5 plates. They asked her to check the plates before leaving and she did. When she brought the plates home, I told her my daughter’s rice and gravy side was missing. I called the restaurant and spoke to the Manager. She looked the order up to confirm it was placed. She told me to bring the plate back up there so they can remake it. I told her I took a picture of the plate and my daughter was currently eating it because she was hungry. I’m very disappointed that the only way to fix their mistake is to bring the plate back vs you can come pick up the side, offer a credit or even a dessert. To remake a whole plate……No, she’s a child. I’m not about to stop her from eating at that moment when she was anticipating the food. I’m so irritated with them. I’ve worked in two restaurants and their customer service expectations were impeccable. I hope B&B change their process.
So the lunch buffet is $12 taxes included. The do have signs requiring mask and to use a glove when going to the buffet. But I noticed while eating that only about half of the people going to the buffet would have a mask on and that only a about a quarter of the people were using Gloves. The food was OK in my opinion but service was excellent and the tea was good.
