got a tongue piercing impulsively, i was hella nervous but the lady pierced it for me and it was like 0/10 pain. hurt way less than my earlobe piercing that i got somewhere else
Tattoo was done amazing, and staff was very helpful. Very comfortable and private rooms for the tattoo as well. Definitely recommend for piercings and tattoos.
I was looking to get my first helix and I had found this shop here in Sunset Park. I was confident as the five star reviews had rated the piercer as excellent and having practiced piercings for a while. The experience was nice in general but there were red flags. First, the piercer did not show me the type of jewelry that was going to be put in my cartilage. It was a butterfly-styled backing with a short post. Whenever you get new piercings, you should NEVER get pierced with this style of backing. Ever. I went home thinking it was okay, but the next day it had swelled up to the point where the pierced area was pushing up against the backing. The third day after I had experienced swelling, redness of the ear and I felt my ear was very hot to the touch. I called back and she had switched to a straight barbell with a longer post. She had me think that it was pet hair that had caused the irritation but I knew it was the backing of the jewelry. She knew it too, but did not admit or apologize. I felt ashamed and embarrassed. One of the balls had also fallen out but other than that, it looks better than ever and I plan to go to an actual certified piercer to downsize. Please go to a reputable and certified piercer.
I will be going back. My friend and I went to go get our piercings done, she got her ears done and I got my septum done. It hurt like hell for me considering that I have thicker skin and a sensitive nose, however it's been about 5 days since then and I am no longer in pain! 10/10 experience, lady at the desk was super sweet and made me feel comfortable, not to mention the piercing was $40! VERY WORTH IT. Hoping to get my next tattoo there :)).
My sister and I got our noses pierced at Aztec Ink. Love the aesthetic of the place, also it’s really clean! Mariano is the best! He answered all my questions and informed me on how to care for my piercing. Definitely recommend this place!
