Best WLM Reviews
Exceptional service and delicious authentic food!!! Would highly recommend. Rocky, our waiter, was friendly and shared the history of Mrs. Avila and how the business came about. Such a remarkable journey for the family. Rocky and the staff made us feel like family. My husband had Pepe’s Special and I had the menudo (menudo only served Saturday and Sunday). Both tasty dishes. The tortillas were hand made and passed to us through the window, hot and fresh. Must try!
Incredibly friendly service and homemade tortillas are worth the visit. Comforting classics in a lively setting, and they do breakfast! Posole was meaty and perfect for a gray morning.
Delicious Mexican food in large portions, friendly staff and cozy nice atmosphere. Our server Rocky was very welcoming and a good host for our first visit! The Fish tacos and sizzling shrimp Fajitas were some of the best we’ve tasted. Warmly recommended.
This place never disappoints. The friendly service is very welcoming. I had the best chile rellenos and green chicken enchiladas this side of town. My brother had the taquito plate. He cleaned that plate clean. The portions are more than enough. Oh, and the chips and salsa are a great way to start your appetite. They also serve a delicious bowl of chicken tortilla soup. You need to go here and try it out.
We’ve been enjoying Avila‘s in Costa Mesa over the past three years. The food is very good, the service is always excellent, and it’s just kind of low-key and comfortable. They also have vegetarian options, which is always a nice surprise. Outside patio, indoor dining, and bar.
The service is super nice and friendly, feel warm once you step into the restaurant. Food there are excellent! I think they have the best guacamole in the world. Fresh handmade tortilla is good with everything. Love the Botana de carnitas, the pork is super juice and tender. I will definitely go back again. It's a must go place in town.
Amazing food! Amazing people! My dad is from Guadalajara and out of all the restaurants themed to anything Mexico, this is by far the best out of all of them he says. It's closest to an authentic feel for it all and it's something that you won't regret going to. I only wish we lived closer but definitely if we ever crave it again or are in the area, we'll stop by again and I recommend you do too!
I've been multiple Avila's location. This is become a must stop when I visit from Washington.
I love how the staff does an amazing job embracing you and making you feel like your family or friends. Even if it's your first time visiting one of their locations.
This is real authentic Mexican food. Their food is always extremely consistent.
