This place isn't bad to stop at in Concourse B.
The bartender was busy but attentive.
He made a stiff but delicious old fashioned for me.
I tried the fried pickles and enjoyed them.
The pulled pork sandwich wasn't anything to write home about, but was filling. The potato salad was surprisingly good.
A bit pricey even for an airport, but an over all decent meal and experience.
I read the description online and was hoping for brisket, but they haven’t had that for years. I did order the half chicken with the mac & cheese and baked beans and it was delicious. My waitress was very friendly.
The food was good. But the table is just really dirty. It's actually sticky to the touch as if it's not being clean for days. So we have to wipe down the entire table with her own alcohol wipes. If you're okay with that, they do have pretty good barbecue, which we got. And we'll quite happy with the food.
Had a pork loin sandwich. The sandwich was tasty but it is not something I would order again. For some reason I thought I was ordering pulled pork. I chose the potato salad. It was too heavy on the spice side for me. Not spicy hot, just very heavy with spices. I did like the chunky potatoes, onion, and other items. Just wish it was lighter on spice and salt.
Food used to be way better we used to be here a lot in the past however we haven’t been here probably for at least 2 years. The food take a lot of time to be out. The guy next to me go the food 3 minutes before me even though I ordered 10-15 minutes. One of our order was burger: the bun was cold, and the veggies were poorly served. It is very disappointing and we probably won’t be going back. Oh that burger was $20 the next door from that restaurant’s burger only $9……
Considering it's an airport restaurant, the food is pretty good. I got The Standard pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese for my side. The sandwich was fresh and hot, with tasty pulled pork and a great BBQ sauce. I've had more than my share of semi-dry pulled pork and am happy to report this wasn't one of those, with plenty of moisture. The sandwich was a decent size, filling me up pretty well.
The mac and cheese was fairly good. I liked the smokey flavor to it, but it could have used a bit stronger cheese flavor. Keeping in mind that airport food is expensive and this was only a few bucks more than some of the other places here, it's worth the extra dollars for a good meal. Compared to what I could get for the same money outside an airport, it gets four stars. For inside the airport, a solid 4.5 stars.
I should mention, the restaurant was very clean, the wait staff friendly, and they helped me and got my food out quickly.
Handily the best airport bar I've been in. Bartenders made me a few good old-fashioneds, and the food was good. Service was good, everyone was attentive. Atmosphere was friendly but a bit commercial, but I felt like it worked - I felt welcome but not like the staff was trying to make me want to stay. It's worth making a stop whenever you're in the airport, even if you're not in the same terminal.
Steak salad was perfect. A steak you can, and have to, cut with a table knife. Perfectly cooked. Love the ideal of grilled onions and mushrooms. Heather was great. Efficient, considerate and genuine.
