Hubby dropped off the engine from a '59 Cadillac, and after we stopped by a few months later to check the progress, Dave graciously explained the crack on the block and how they will deal with things, all the while giving us a tour of the shop and the various engines at different stages of completion.

They even gave us references for other specialty shops to help get Grandpa's classic vehicles back on the road.

Went to several other machine shops to try to get spun mains repaired. They recommended automotive machine. Long story short NO they are not the place to go to get that done. Don’t waste your time there.

Here's a picture of the 2 stud extractions & installed Time-Serts for my 560SL. Today I tried to install the water pump and the Time-Sert Dave installed spun out at only 13Nm. This has to be the worse machine shop in Arizona. I can't believe Dave has been in business for over 38 years and this is the work performed. The work done on my cylinder heads are even worse!

Had these guys bore and hone my jug for my lt250r. They did a fantastic job and had it done on time. Forget the other shops in the valley. Go here for any automotive machine work you need.

Excellent machine shop. Great communication and turn time. Was referred by another shop to trust Automotive Machine of Scottsdale with a rare and hard to replace engine block. I was not disappointed. Would highly recommend.

Spoke to Bill and got my warped flange repaired on my headers. They did an amazing job and managed to get it done same day. Friendly, professional, and amazing quality. Definitely recommend
