The mechanics at Auto Stop are kind, patient, and honest. I had a lot of repairs after being sold a lemon used car, and they worked with me to get to a reasonable price for a lot of problems. The repairs took some time but they can not be beat for value. I appreciate you all very much. Thank you.

Friendly, helpful owner who was happy to accommodate me for a last minute brake pad and caliper exchange. Had every opportunity to upcharge me for an additional set of calipers but didn’t and that speaks volumes.

I originally chose to take my car to Auto Stop after being convinced by other reviews that they were a trustworthy, dependable place to take my car. And I'm pleased to say that I'm happy I did! Each person I talked to at Auto Stop was kind and informative. They worked with me on the overall labor cost for my total and even fixed my car in one day. I've been lucky enough most of my life to live in the same city where my mechanic uncle lives, so finding a trustworthy shop was important to me. So grateful for Auto Stop!

Have been trying to reach shop by business phone number with no sucess. Last week it rang busy every time I called. This week telephone number disconnected.

took my car (2010 Dodge Avenger) in during March 2021 for transmission issues. According to the diagnosis, it was a computer issue.The car also needed a new battery and new brakes, as concludd by the diagnostics.

It took a couple of weeks for the update.

The first time in it took about a month or so in turn around, due to the computer part order, or so I was told. I was given the car back and told to give it a couple weeks to allow the new computer to calibrate.

After the initial weeks, I called back, as there was no change in how the car was driving. I was told to bring the car back in.

It was determined the computer part was defective and they needed to order another computer. I was told the computer was on back order because of a chip needed for the particular computer. This was all over the process of months. I believe this time I was given my car back around the end of September. I was told a used computer was put in temporarily because of the backorder and I would get a call when the party was back in stock. That never happened. Every time I called over the months, it's been busy or went to voicemail. I've left voicemails with no returned calls.

On top of this, I received a DC parking ticket for my license plate number, for a white Hyundai (not my car) for late March 2021, which suggest my tag was taken from my car during the stay at the shop.

I've taken my vehicles to AutoStop for more than 15 years now and have consistently been happy with all aspects of their service. Recently I took my 2009 Scion XB in as it was not driven for more than 2 years and that resulted in many issues needing to be addressed. AutoStop brought it back to life and it is now running as good as ever. I'm pleased the new owner is as diligent, thorough and caring as the prior owner. I will continue to be a loyal AutoStop customer!
