This is HANDS DOWN THE BEST MECHANIC in the industry. My whole family has been coming here for years and always have they been patient, honest and very reasonable rates. Eli whom is the owner and head mechanic is a kind and considerate man that has worked with my budget many times and even allowed me to make payments when I couldn't afford the entire amount at once...He never charges to diagnose the issue and will always confirm before starting any work to make sure you ate comfortable with the price and that you understand what the issue is . You will be so grateful and relieved that u took ur car them.
Eli is the last honest repairman in Los Angeles. At his humble shop on Venice Blvd., expect only excellent service at a reasonable rate. There is never a sales pitch here - what is not broken, does not get "fixed" at Auto Lube & Repair. Eli will find the problem fast and will tell you the quickest and least expensive way to get back on the road. I live in Orange County and work in LA, commuting 2-3 hours per day. Years ago I was stranded here with a broken fuel pump. Eli's was the 4th shop I tried, and he offered to fix at a fraction of the price of the others. In ONE HOUR, he had the problem diagnosed and repaired with no hassle. Visit once, and you too will see why all of the customers here are "lifers"... there is no substitute for honest work at an honest price!!

Great shop! No nonsense, all makes and models! My ancient Toyota pickup came with me from New England, where we NEVER used the AC, so it didn't work. Eli had me back on the road in 35 minutes with the air blowing cold. A gem of a spot. Quick oil changes, too!!
Everyone, and I mean everyone, has trust issues with their mechanic. Once they're under the hood, you hope they're doing the right thing. I do not have that fear when I go to this garage.
I have been screwed by many a mechanic, but I finally found this place and have never left. I have referred anyone who has ever asked me.
The owner, Eli, is a super nice guy and really knows his stuff. I always bring him problems and he always has a solution. I have a pretty eclectic collection of cars ranging from a 1949 Willy's Jeepster to a 1993 Land Rover Defender and on and he always solved every problem at a fraction of the cost that it would cost anywhere else.
He sticks to the timeline that he gives and he is always super quick with repairs.
I cannot recommend this place more!
