They have been our mechanics for years, and we really like them. More than that, we trust them. Paul is an excellent mechanic, and Laura keeps the front office running smoothly. They're nice people, and their work is always first-rate and reasonably priced. Can't say enough good things about them, and just recommend that you try them and see for yourself.
This place is great. I was driving to the mountains and had a busted headlight, every shop I called was full and told me I would need a $100+ diagnostic before they could begin work. I took my car into auto know how and within 30 minutes Kevin figured out I had a blown fuse and replaced it, and i was charged a fraction of what the other shops quoted me. I will not hesitate to bring my car back to auto know how for any and all repairs, a complete 10/10 experience.
Kevin is an honest man and mechanic. I brought in my 2006 4runner for a "full tune-up". Kevin called me about an hour later after removing the spark plug boots and informed me that "they look great and did not need replacing" - I was only charged for cabin and air filter replacement and 1 hour labor. How often these days would you get that kind of honesty and service?
We're new owners of an old "grandma" car with lots of quirks. Auto Know How has been wonderful to work with - they're easy to reach, work fast, and give us good advice on which repairs to forgo and which to make. I'm grateful to have them as an affordable, friendly resource for car repairs!
Brought my vehicle here as they were highly recommended; however, I have had nothing but problems with my car since bringing it to them. The receptionist was very unprofessional in the way she spoke and rude. Customer service could be improved. I am very understanding and open minded yet I highly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere or getting a second opinion. Do not be fooled.
I've brought my car to Auto Know-How for decades, and wouldn't trust anyone else to get near my vehicle! They are incredibly nice people, fast, accommodating and fairly priced. If they ever retire, I'll have to sell my car and take the bus.
Paul and Laura are the last of the honest mechanics! Top level work at reasonable prices. I have used them for years and I highly recommend them.
My rack and pinion went out my rear differential went out they gave me free estimates they helped me figure out what ignition coils were out so I can replace them myself very good customer service very recommended place
