Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Best crab claws we had this week, and we tried them everywhere. Blackened swordfish was perfect. Wings were good. They even have gluten free bread options for the misses. 32 oz, cold beers. Good live entertainment. We will be back!
We had a fabulous dinner here at Austons. The clams were tiny but tasty. But the oysters raw and cooked were delicious! Clam chowder and wings were good as well. So good that we had to come back and get some more oysters!
It got real busy, real quick, and not a lot of staff, but the staff they did have was hustling! Everything came out in a reasonable amount of time, and our food was good! Don't let the outside of this place fool you, its a great place inside. We will definitely be coming back. Tuna dip and broiled oysters are a win! And to the staff, your hard work and positive attitudes, did not go unnoticed. Thanks for making this a great first time visit.
Nice spot. Lots of seating. Great bar tender. I was pretty impressed by the fish of the day. Cooked nicely. Tasted great.
The grits were some of the best I've had. Really creamy!
We dropped in for a late dinner. Sat at the bar. Frank the bartender was great! Very friendly and welcoming. We had the shrimp cocktail which was awesome. We kept it simple with grilled hamburgers and fries. Everything was hot and delicious. Looks like the perfect spot to catch sports on TVs everywhere. If you like beer, they had I believe over 30 somthing beers on tap. Only recommendation is to get rid of their least selling beer and replace with Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. You won't regret. Highly recommend Austin's if you want something with the fun classic bar atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Thanks Frank for making our experience a great one!
Absolutely nothing good about this place. Calamari had no flavor and was overcooked. Tater tot nachos were covered in so much beer cheese they were inedible. Clam
Chowder was served cold- not even lukewarm. We didn’t see the waitress for over 25 minutes after ordering drinks. Drinks were highly questionable. Ordered a manhattan and it came out pink? Not sure what was in it. Club was so soggy you couldn’t even pick it up. Terrible experience. Highly disappointing.
Best broiled Oysters I’ve had, I would try the sampler. The Chilli sauce ones are the best.
Great draft beer selection. Served in 16oz or 32oz mugs. Clean and delicious.
I also had the wings. Good size, I went with the bourbon flavor. Very good.
I went on a Tuesday but service was great.
We had great food and even greater service. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is they put horseradish in their cocktail sauce and I really don't like horseradish. Maybe they could put the horseradish on the side so the diner could either skip it or mix it in themselves. Otherwise this place is great
