The restaurant is amazing. Mile-high burgers, delicious fried grouper, cheesy grits, and crispy fries. Hubby said the oysters were overdone.
What makes a restaurant amazing? The staff. The bartender had a crowd of customers at the bar and the bar tables, and she had all the tables in the restaurant that ordered drinks.. She sure handled things. It was fun to watch her maneuver. She had a great attitude and perfect food recommendations.
They have outdoor seating. I shared the fried mushrooms appetizer. I had a grouper filet blackened and it came with 2 sides (I chose a side salad and fried okra). Food was well seasoned and cooked properly. My friend had the grouper taco.
This was my first visit and I wasn't too excited about the food. It had a lack of seasonings for my taste. And apparently you have to ask for your wings to be crispy when I thought they were already supposed to be that way. The server was great and the surroundings were close.
My experience at Austin’s Firegrill in Albany GA was generally positive. The service was decent, and I opted for the South Paw chicken sandwich, which was pretty good. I particularly enjoyed the fried potato chips, which were excellent, and the sweet potato waffle fries were a standout. The atmosphere is always good. While there was nothing particularly spectacular about the experience, I would definitely return in the future. Overall, a solid choice for a meal out in Albany.
Grilled fish tacos with romalade sauce are great even without the sauce. The BBQ pork sandwich with fries, the huge salads ???? are excellent. It's a little noisy, but we went on my daughter's favorite time. You go for 2 lbs of chicken wings for $14.00, and they say they are the best in town.
The food was good, but not for the price. We had the salmon, broccoli and baked potato and it was almost $25 each. The service was great server's and those that cleared the table of dirty dishes was friendly, helpful and they all worked together as a team.
Austin’s is a great place for a gathering with friends and family. Place seems pretty kid friendly. The setting was pretty cozy. I ordered the ribs. They were tender. My sides were Brussels sprouts which were pretty good. The okra was much to brag about. My rum runner drink was a little too much juice and not enough rum. Pretty disappointing. But the service was great. The server was very attentive.
This place has very low star ratings and I'm not really sure why... my team and I came to try them out after many locals recommend it to us. From the second we hit the door we knew we were in for a Damn good time. Our server Consuela was amazing. Very honest and personable, if you come here you will want to be in her section. As for the food we ordered the steak tils and they were pretty good. For the mains we ordered the Jambalaya, Cajun pasta,and Flank steak and we had zero issues with the food. There was one almost issues but our server was on it before the food got to the table. Our drinks were strong and made correctly. You need to stop by and give a try.
