This restaurant is next to the Citgo gas station. It just opened in November of 2022. This is truly a hole in the wall restaurant. It is not a "fresh by order" menu. All of the food is out in display and you pick out your protein, with 2 sides, and you can choose corn bread or a biscuit, and a drink. I'm not sure the cost of a plate, because there was no pricing on the white board.
I ordered meatloaf, with the potatoes and Mac and cheese. The food was delicious. The potatoes were a little dry, but it was still flavorful. The serving potion was generous. It was enough for me to share with my husband. I also ordered a slice of red velvet cake and peach cobbler. Wow, highly recommend both! Soooo good!!
The man who took my order was very friendly. Overall, I would come here again. I think they have a Facebook page. I would recommend checking what's on the menu before coming in. I came in blindly because I needed gas. But the food was good and worth the extra stop.
Takes me back to my childhood, the way grandmother used to cook! The dressing and gravy,oh my! Dont forget the peach cobbler ????
We ordered our Watertight Roofing Services company Christmas lunch from Auntie Peaches last week and it was OUTSTANDING!!! You just can't get better home cooked southern food anywhere! We ordered for 30 people and had so much left over (not from lack of eating) that we were able to bless a Barrow County non-profit with the enough food to feed an army. I highly recommend
This is an edit to my previous review. I've been here twice now. On my first visit, the guy and younger adults there were pretty nice and provided great customer service. The food was really good especially the corn and red velvet cake which is why I went back about a week later. Unfortunately, the 2nd visit was the opposite. 1) There were 2 older women there that didn't seem to happy especially about me asking questions. 2) The reason I was asking was because the corn didn't look the same as previously and that was primarily the reason I went back. The first time the corn was creamy and really good. The 2nd visit it was more watered like just whole kernel but they kept assuring me it was the same but it tasted nothing alike. I don't think they liked the fact that I was questioning the difference. IDK but my two visits were night and day. To add, it's $5 a slice of cake and the slices are super super thin.
No words to fully explain how delicious this fried chicken is and everything else we ate. Absolutely amazingly yummy. Do yourself a favor and go try this place NOW!
I visited Auntie Peaches for the first and fell in love. I intended to order to go, but decided to eat inside (on the spot - while it was HOT!). My pork chop, cabbage, speckled butter beans, and corn bread were delicious. Tyron, establishment representative was friendly and welcoming. I am following them on social from here on out to see what delightful items are on the menu when my tummy craves some good home cooking (i.e. Soul Food)
I was pleasantly surprised! They served the best meatloaf I've ever had. All the food had a great flavor and I received generous portions. The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend checking this place out.
It's a cute family type of place. I got the pork chops and I loved them. Everything is flavorful and it does not matter what you get lol. You will enjoy it all
