Augusta Delivery Services

First, they had my package since 24 March but didn't deliver it until 31 March (Amazon said it would be delivered on 31 March) Instead they wait to deliver it on a day when it is going to rain. It's called The Weather Channel or WRDW weather! The delivery time was 'between 6am - 6pm'. Who delivers at 6am? They were supposed to text when they were on the way. No text. I took a day off and sat home all day waiting. In this day and age of scheduling, you would think they could have called and told us what time they would be at my home, especially since I was going to be the last delivery! They had my package for 7 days before they delivered it. The driver shows up at 5:10 pm and it is raining. He sits in the truck (only one person for a 200 + pound item) for about 8 minutes then backs up into our mailbox, puts it in park and sits there in the cab. I call 'dispatch' and talk to Ray (Ops manager) and tell him the guy is sitting in the truck and that he just backed into the mailbox. I even sent a photo of the mailbox. The driver gets out and tells my husband and I that he didn't hit the mailbox! I came inside and about 10 minutes later my husband comes in soaking wet. He (my husband) had to help get the item into the garage because the driver couldn't do it by himself with a pallet jack! Poor service, not professional, not responsive (haven't heard anything about paying to fix the mailbox), poor customer service, just poor, poor, poor. Do not use these people if you can avoid. it.

One of my renters had a delivery from Augusta delivery service. The incompetent driver hit a wire running across the road and pulled it down, tore up the lawn and a mature ornamental plant. Then just drove away. The police had to come and deal with the line that was blocking the traffic on our road. ultimately the phone company had to come out and take care of the wire. We called Augusta delivery dispatch who first said “the guy to handle that isn’t in the office till Monday”. When the car wasn’t returned on Monday I called again. The guy that answered the phone in the dispatch office requested pictures and then did nothing. No follow up no offer to repair the damage. No nothing! Completely unprofessional and incompetent! I wouldn’t recommend them to deliver anything to properly you care about.

Was called the day before and quoted a time frame of 10am - 2pm. Driver(Larry) was at my house just before 11am. He was polite and efficient. Package was left exactly where I asked and handled with care!

Arrived well after the three hour window, one guy for a 300lbs delivery, and he couldn't back up the truck. We were supposed to get a call 30 min before delivery, we had to call and then when driver called us back he said he couldn't find our address and had been driving around for 2hrs- he had our phone number the whole time but didn't call? and he was reading the address wrong although it was very clearly printed. Then he couldn't back the truck into our driveway. He was by himself and said that the delivery was a two person job, so we helped bring it in. Then when we were done another guy showed up and the original guy had him back the truck up and he drove all over our lawn and tore up the grass.

Quick delivery. I was in n out. Everybody I talked to in office and in wharehouse was really nice n polite. A bit tight to get in the dock but nothing to bad.

This dude is a beast! Swiftly delivered without a hiccup. Downloaded and moved into position smoothly.

No problems here. Notified me a day before they came and got here when they said they would. Guys were very nice and hard working. One of the more pleasant deliveries I've had. Keep up the good work.

Just had the absolute WORST experience with Augusta Delivery Service. After waiting 2 weeks for a delivery from Roadrunner Transport, a few calls were made and we discovered that Roadrunner passed our shipment off to Augusta Delivery for our local delivery. They had been sitting on our order for a week! The driver they sent was a lazy, rude jerk.

NEVER, NEVER use Augusta delivery and make sure your suppliers are aware of their reputation so they can avoid them as well.

Sorry I can't give less than one star because I would!
