Great food, service and atmosphere inside. It’s a pity that it’s so far from my home. Catfish with fries was delicious. The cinnamon cake with red berries was fantastic!
I came here with a friend to get lunch and had the pony shoe. I forgot how good they were and how much I missed home cooking. This restaurant exceeded my expectations and more with the home atmosphere and comfort food. I am a bit nostalgic being from here originally and this made me miss it more. Excellent service and excellent food. Would recommend this place without hesitation.
Great food for the price! Cafe does need better seating. Had to sit on my coat for cushion. We’ll be back when in town . Wish they served breakfast all day. Got there at 1208pm and had to order lunch.
Stopped in on a Friday at noon for a quick bite to eat. Special of the day was roast beef mashed potatoes gravey and green beans. Good slab of roast beef, the green beans were well seasoned. All I needed was a nap time.

My wife & I stopped there on a recent road trip. Food was ok and atmosphere ok, small town cafe type.
We both ordered a fish sandwich and the waitress said it came with two sides. We questioned that a sandwich came with two sides, but she insisted. When it came time to pay we were charged for dinners, not sandwiches! The waitress admitted she made a mistake but didn’t change the bill.
Guess who is not longer stopping here and recommending that our friends also by pass this place.
Sorry, we love small town cafes, but when you make a mistake you should correct it.
Waitress was great. Very friendly place. The grilled catfish was delicious! Great home cooked meal.
Great food, great service you will not leave here hungry!
