This place had my husband's blood pressure through the roof. Management treated him like their field slave always putting last minute moves on him while other drivers stole company time and sat Idol for hours. He worked very hard for this company for very long and was not appreciated. The terminal manager was condescending,rude,obnoxious, and seriously lacks social skills.There is No way he should have been in that position. He's the reason for the driver's mass exodus!
On the other hand, Dispatcher Jonathan Williamson is amazing and does a great job managing the freight and the drivers. Hubby now works with me and is much happier and better paid.
If you are a hardworker avoid this place, they will run you to the ground while others are rewarded for bad behavior.
Horrible company to work for. They under pay there Owner Operators screwing them over with a so called Mileage pay. Owner-Operators there are only making an average Gross of about $1,500.00 or less. The Dispatchers there will tell you they have your Detention pay noted but really don't. They want you to have a so called control number for Detention Pay, even though its already on your Bill of Lading. Stay far away from this company. Half of the staff at this company doesn't have any experience in Trucking. Also if Escrow is coming out of your check weekly and you leave the company they will steal that to. Even when you return all of there belongings that belongs to them.
Great staff! Now Central States Trucking has the BEST drivers!
