On March 28, I purchased two smoked turkey butts to test the quality of the product. I had previously informed the cook that the turkey butts used to be tender, but recently they have been tough in certain areas. The cook, a black male, assured me that customer satisfaction was his priority and mentioned he smoked the meat for 20 minutes. However, upon trying the turkey butt on Thursday at 11 am, it was still tough in texture, indicating no improvement in tenderness. Unfortunately, this experience has led to the loss of three customers.
I love the shrimp & grits and those potatoes are 2 die for. I go at least 3 times a week. That's just how great the food is.????????????
Turkey tails grits and eggs make a southern belle smile. I've been coming to this place since I was small. And now they're open for breakfast! Super excited ????
Had the Red beans with fried chicken...Everything was seasoned really well...I definitely will be back..
Great food and fair prices. Daily lunch menu provides many options. From red beans to smoked meats, this is a place to try. BTW...the smoked chicken wings are amazing and flavorful! This is my go to spot for a quick home cooked meal/lunch.

Went there today 05/09/2023 and I brought some crawfish some of them were rotten and old they mixed them in with good crawfish if I could I’ll give them a 0 they had a lot of rotten crawfish
Ordered breakfast. Found long strand of hair throughout my service of cheese grits. Breakfast isn’t consistently good. Tried to call to report the containment grits. Consistently, no answer. I order here a lot. Hopefully, I haven’t digested anyone’s DNA. Please wear hair nets.
